SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs BALTIMORE RAVENS - 2023 Season Game 15

Hamilton is a monstrous beast. 6'4 1/2" 220 lbs. Great speed. Long rangy arms and big hands. How many pass tip ups, break ups, knock downs, interceptions did he have? He completely changes the game out there.

That Ravens defense is basically built to stop the 49ers with how crazy strong they are up the middle on all levels.

You'd think an offensive genius could game plan around that

If offensive genius could always game plan against the talent against them then Walsh would have been far better against Parcells.

Obviously Walsh is no offensive genius, being held to 3 points in consecutive playoff games.

There are such silly, ahistorical takes around here.

Could you imagine this forum after the three 1-and-done playoff appearances of 1985-1987.
Rams took this team to OT. We abandoned the run way too early. Not sure why as CMC was clipping yards after that safety. We should have kept pounding the run and not setting up the run with the pass.

The only silver lining is no other NFC contender is well rounded like Baltimore. They match up well with us.

Ravens won't make it to the Superbowl. 49ers record against AFC North teams this year. 1-3. And I dare say if they played the Steelers some other week than the first they may be 0-4 against them.

I would have a hard time betting against them. Especially if they get Mark Andrews back.

What team in the AFC would beat them at home?

Buffalo or KC would have an outside shot, IMO.

They came off hot throwing the ball but didn't rely too much on the running game. I just don't understand why they stop running the ball.

This. I wondered why he come out throwing. But regardless, BAL DL was just too much for the OL.

1st and goal in the 2 yard line.. WHY did Shanny had to look pretty calling a pass instead of just running the best RB in the NFL even if we didn't make it..

I think this team can stop being compared to the 94 team or heck the 80 49ers teams. I watched all of them and they were better. Not saying this team is not good they are. And stop the Joe comparison's. Brock is good but that was a overboard for me.

Should have given Jordan Mason some reps too.

Not saying Sam is playing but Brock played horrible today. He can't have another game like that this year or else today happens again.

Well, it's not like Baltimore's defense didn't have a huge impact on how Brock and the offense played. Three of those picks were kind of flukey, the first one was probably the most egregious. Baltimore played great and deserved the win. Niners will have their work cut out for them if they end up meeting again in the Super Bowl.

After the first pick it seemed the rest was inevitable

Started to feel that way

1st pick was a terrible decision. 2 others could be argued as flukes, but we're also bad decisions.

Watch the other pass plays Brock had though. He had 2 other picks dropped.

He easily could have had 5 on his own tonight. He was terrible.

Maybe he's hurt, maybe the MVP talk got to him, but he was awful tonight.

Awful? Try atrocious or he really is Mr irrelevant

Maybe just had a bad game against a really really good team? It happens

On 2nd down he did and it was ugly, back up OLine was garbage

Rams have a better OL. They quietly rebuilt it after losing their star LT to retirement. Meanwhile Kyle will keep settling for guys like McKivitz because they're already in the building.
I think Lamar just won the MVP tonight. I know it's only one game but Purdy with four INT's pretty much blew his chance this year. Jackson was clearly the better QB on the field tonight and it wasn't even close.

Balt d is really good too.
This is the way its supposed to play out. 49ers lose the regular season game and the 49ers win the SB

Injuries could change that. Trent, banks, and Jennings could all be out the next 2 weeks

Cuz our dumb hc never knows how to manage his players and not drive them into dust.
