SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs BALTIMORE RAVENS - 2023 Season Game 15

only has one knee though

Nobody on the roster concerns me in games like these. It's always Shanahan. Easily flustered and flummoxed, has never won a game down by a single score in 38 games.

Shockingly alarming statistic. He routinely gets unraveled at the slightest moments of adversity or confusion. He's a coaching autistic who needs a head coach. You can feel the energy and flailing confidence permeate through the whole team. He's a loser in key moments and needs someone to override.

this is the best roster I've seen since the 94 Niners. They should be beating everyone. I have no confidence he won't f**k this up because he's never proven otherwise.

I'm certain he probably will. You should be able to win 1 - 2 of those by just getting lucky.

Ughh these hit the nail on the head...

Its bad when you feel desperate like you can't stop a QB who puts up 220 yards 2 tds and 50 rushing yards a game. Lamar is so pedestrian and harbaugh just covers it up completely.

I knew this could happen though. I just hope shanahan can't get out coached in the SB as well. Losing to teams with clearly less talent across the board is annoying. Especially when you see that we outgained them on offense.

Flukey turnovers are setup due to poor game management...

This was supposed to be entertaining. Bad display of talent, wasted opportunities, and lack of preparation or adjustments.

Zero entertainment value today. Win the SB and everything is forgotten. Otherwise, another crappy year down the drain, what's new, same old crap year after year.

Still entertained by the 11 wins myself. Not the end goal obviously, but can't forget the good times when they happened, either.

So PHI could still come back and take it away from us....great. hate those PHI fans

Philly isn't very good. We want the bye if for nothing other than rest, but we can beat Phi in Phi in the title game if they were to even make it there.

We're going to be the 1 seed anyway.

I'm not going to bet PHI plays like that again at home

Did you see their game today? They stunk, against a lesser team, at home; even though it was to a division rival.

They're in the playoffs again, as a fan I love that. Losing hope they'll win the Super Bowl, but it's certainly better than staying home. Is what it is. Until Lynch realizes there are position groups outside of the Dline, this is where we'll be.

What happened on the injury? Is it severe?
I'm not overly worried - it feels like this was coming - good to get some home truths before the playoffs.

That Ravens defense is basically built to stop the 49ers with how crazy strong they are up the middle on all levels.

You'd think an offensive genius could game plan around that

If offensive genius could always game plan against the talent against them then Walsh would have been far better against Parcells.

Obviously Walsh is no offensive genius, being held to 3 points in consecutive playoff games.

There are such silly, ahistorical takes around here.

Could you imagine this forum after the three 1-and-done playoff appearances of 1985-1987.
The big difference is Walsh had actually won championships at the point the two aren't remotely comparable.
The big difference then Joe Montana. Joe was one of a kind. Walsh was a genius but joe made it click.
I disagree it was a mutually beneficial marriage for sure but to downplay Walshs value is ridiculous.
I don't think calling someone a genius is downplaying their value.
I don't know what your intent was but in the context of this conversation you seem to be saying that the main difference between Shannahan & Walsh is that Walsh had Montana & if that's the case I'd certainly consider that downplaying.

Yep the only things that could derail this team are health, the refs or Shanahan and not necessarily in that order.
