Anyhow we need a serious upgrade center to rt. Last year it got Purdy injured, this season against good teams we're seeing the same thing.
Burford has regressed in both blocking and coordinating the blocking, McKivitz is a liablity, to often missed his blocks in Passpro.
Running to the right also barely works.
The offensive and defensive line playing is a mess right now due to injuries and bad ref calls. That's a bad recipe for success.
Yes, Lamar can run and evade…but he killed us mostly with throwing because he was comfortable in the pocket. Making no excuses,
but the 49ers were continuously held and the Ravens never got called..This referee was the same one who screwed us against KC by not calling holding Not calling holding favors the team with the weaker pass rush. And this is how they can favor one team.
Ravens were better at getting to the QB making Brock uncomforable. Shanahan should have seen that early in the game and adjust to call more run plays or even screen passes, and play action fakes. I don't think he even knows what a screen pass even is. He got out coached by their DC because his play calling was too predictable.
Shanahan needs to focus on preparing his team to play with discipline and strategy, not focus solely on designing dazzling plays to show off. Play calling seems to be taking away from his responsibilities as a head coach.
