And with just a Niners win and Lions loss the Niners will clinch the #2 seed. And if the Rams win the Niners will assure themselves that they would avoid playing the Rams in the wildcard round. Because the only way the Rams could get the #7 seed is by losing to the Niners in which case the Niners would get the #1 seed and the bye.
