That's bad news for Armstead. He's probably missing a couple more weeks.
Somethings not right with this Armstead situation. I'm getting suspicious that we're not gettin the whole story.
Then go get Suh also and stop f**king around with cheap toys.
THIS!
There really isn't much time left for him to ramp up.
I'd take Suh off the street over Kinlaw, Givens and McGill every day of the week!!!
May as well. If we're gonna go all in then really go all in.
the amount of resources an talent were again sinking into our DL is crazy. The fact that we still can't make consistent pressure with that DL is crazier.
Oh no we can. Can't play all the running qb's that way. You'll see it the next 2 weeks. We've got direct experience against Jackson now. Qb's like Stafford/Goff will be in big trouble. As long as the middle of the line is good Young and Bosa can pin their ears back and go

I hope Armstead's foot condition isn't something that causes him to retire early. When guys over 300 lbs start having foot problems they can last forever. All that weight is hard on the feet.
If Armstead retires we'll have enormous cap space to replace him

Not 100% true, he'd need to lower his base salary to the minimum for them to save cap room pre June 1, post June 1 is when they'd save a lot of money.

Seen him on the TV a couple of times. Didn't see much of an impact, but maybe I missed something. Hope he gets more acclimation and playing time next week.

Deal wasn't league minimum, got a $2.7M base salary, prorated down to just $300K, plus $100K LTBE incentives for 25% playtime for both week 17 & week 18.

He didn't get in till the ending of the game. And when he played he got in the backfield twice.

this was not meant to be an impact signing is depth
you guys are delusional if you think a FA at week 6+ will be an impact signing

If he's better than Javon Kinlaw, then it's an impact signing due to injuries.

He's not your run of the mill late season pick up,he has the ability to bring more to the table than he's being given credit for by some.

I hope he has a good playoff and SB run with us. Javon Hargrave has been missing in action, I thought he would be more disruptive like he was with the Eagles
