Your level of concern after Christmas meltdown

The media is going to make this look like "the Ravens destroyed the 49ers" because they have to sensationalize this stuff. Facts, the Niners had more total yardage, more passing yardage, more rushing yardage, more yards p/play. AND, the niners threw 5 picks and only lost by 2TD's. To me, this doesn't amount to the destruction of a team. Let's take two of the picks and give them to the Niners. A 14 point switch if you will. Niners win. Period. And, Kyle and Wilks will talk to their staff and players and straighten this out. How about let's meet in the SB? If Lamar can get there
Yeah I don't get the whole destruction narrative it's like I watched a different game.
My concern is Shanahan's stubbornness. It seems that he has a gameplan and he sticks to it no matter what is happening on the field because he is convinced that his gameplan is perfect. If he keeps being that stubborn we won't win the ring because his original gameplans won't work all the time.
I feel like if we see them again we will run early and often.
Low but if we blow it on Sunday I'll shoot right to high.

I keep seeing this narrative yelled everywhere and I just don't get it.

We were down 7 to the Rams in the second quarter on the road. Still got that game-tying drive to end the half and then delivered in the second half.

Eagles game we had one of the worst offensive starts possible for more than a quarter. Even the Ravens game we started better—we at least could move the ball. Still blew the doors off them.

Seahawks game we were down 14-10 and then turned the ball over. Still won no problem.

I'm just not buying that this team folds when things don't go right. Okay sure when the other team is up double digits we lose. How often do most teams win when they're down double digits? Newsflash, not many.

Zero. I hope to get a chance to play them again because they dont really scare me still.

We got cute and went away from what we do. Simple as that and it backfired. We just gotta remember individual awards don't matter. Get the bye and remember the MVP only matters in the SB.
This game merely showed us that we have to exceed the intensity and the hatred and the violence and the pain inflicted than ANY opponent we've faced thus far

This is only gonna help us to finish the season and we WILL be ready the next encounter

Two words…..KYLE SHANAHAN.

I am VERY concerned…
A great story always has moments where the antagonist is at his lowest point and then has to overcome.

Yeah you should be. He is out coached, over matched and out schemed in all the big games vs the big time coaches. He can win the cream puff games and middle tier games and give you a good record. Which will tease you into believing you have something.

I know you're having an emotional reaction to a national audience game loss, but an out of conference regular season game that doesn't directly impact your playoff outlook isn't exactly a big game. The game against the Seahawks on Thanksgiving was a more meaningful game… against an arguably more successful coach too.

Seahawks games, Dallas game, Eagles game and in hindsight Week 2 against the Rams were all vastly bigger than this game. This game was more of an extremely attractive marquee prime time matchup on paper, but not necessarily meaningful compared to the other games.

This 1000% and injuries.

The combo of the two is grim at best. Ji'Ayir Brown has a knee sprain that sounds serious...that would remove both of our extremely talented safeties. Trent Williams seems like he'll be OK. The corners are banged up; the o-line is. I just don't have much hope after what I've seen from these guys the past four or so years. Always feels snake bitten.

If Brown is out for a while and the cornerbacks are ailing, teams will feast on this secondary.

I get what you're saying but calling this game "not meaningful" is understatement of the year. A win gives the 49ers flexibility to lose one of the next two and potentially rest players. It also was a big test to show they can beat a team like Baltimore...especially at home. And if they were going to lose, doing so in such spectacularly awful fashion really can't be discounted. This was never a competitive game and the head coach unraveled like he always does in those situations... and the team followed suit.
