This season feels like a complete loss without a Lombardi

Go SAN DIEGO JAGUARS!!!

Jaguars play in Jacksonville.

They will be forced to changed names for social justice. San Diego deserves a Mexican heritage team name. Jacksonville can kick rocks 🥾💥🪨
You can say the last 2 seasons, plus 2019, were complete disappointments because we couldn't get the job done. This season will be no different.

I will say that this is probably the best year to bring home #6. If we can't do it this year, then it may not happen during the remainder of this current window.

If this team can get, and stay healthy, they will win. However, as we are now, we can't be down to second and third-string guys and go deep into the playoffs. If we lose because of injuries, it will be a far different form of disappointment than losing in the SB with a healthy team.
Can't disagree with the original poster here. I feel like this is the most loaded this team has ever been, if we don't do it this year, I'm not sure there's going to be a better year anytime soon.
Yes, the roster will still have lots of talent, but we're definitely going to lose a lot of key guys after this year.

All we can do is hope for the best!
Next season Andy Reid will get real receivers for Mahomes and it will be over for the rest of the league.

If we don't win the Super Bowl this season with this roster we won't win it ever with Shanahan.
Fret not, my friend. Brock Purdy will be hoisting the Lombardi when it's all said and done.

This. Sports is supposed to be fun. I enjoy the 49ers and am disappointed when I lose, but some of the takes lack a grip on reality and what's important. Maybe some need to listen to some Giannis speeches.

When you lose? You on the team or what?

I agree if Shanahan can't win with this he will NEVER WIN. He has ENOUGH TALENT. No more excuses. This team is loaded. Win it all or be on your way.

The starting OL must stay healthy to win. Without quality depth any injury will be trouble.

Lose first playoff game - A complete loss and some heads need to roll
Lose in Championship Game - Very disappointing, but we have a chance next year to get stronger and fix the oline.
Lose in the Superbowl - Disappointing, but realize we are almost there and maybe we will have better luck next year.

All sucks, but some more than others.

Its best to just enjoy the moment and every game. If you are not enjoying sports, then there is not much reason to watch it.

What sort of heads? Players? Coaches? If we go out early, I would guess that injuries will be largely to blame. So who are you going to sack?

I say we fold the franchise and all start watching mini golf tournaments instead. It's the only way to be sure the Niners never end a season without winning the Lombardi ever again. Can't disappoint fans if the team doesn't exist!
I just wanna know now if we are going to the SB because I am impatient lol
I've just become numb with how much heartache I've had, I don't even know if a Superbowl would help. 2011 really hurt never saw the 9ers be good that was probably the most magical year I've seen.

Then we lose the Superbowl the next year. Remember my bro grabbing my jersey saying lets go home at halftime then yelling at him "It's not over yet!" the whole party went silent looking at me. The power outage happens and we start storming back only to lose in the last seconds

2019 my dad fell ill and past a week after we lost to Chiefs think he was pushing through the pain cause he wanted to watch that game with me and my brother before he went. Felt if we can win it all last year with Mr Irrelevant as a rookie I'd never ask for anything more and he tears his elbow apart in the nfc championship.

So if we don't win it all it's not the worst. Maybe I'm asking to much but the only thing that might heal the mental trauma of being so close and losing in devastating fashion so many times would be to see a dynasty

This should be the year for several reasons.
1) The team has stayed relatively healthy for most of the year. I now we have so injuries now but not like past years.
2) Other teams are down this year. Eagles aren't playing as well and the Seahawks didn't have a good year. The Niners have the Cowboys number right now. The Lions probably aren't ready to challenge so the NFC should be there for the Niners.
3) The Chiefs and Bengals are having an off year so the Niners won't need to face them in the SB. Buffalo is too erratic. That leaves the Ravens who are tough but beatable if the 49ers don't turn the ball over.
4) This team still has a cheap QB that allows them to pay other good players. That window is going to close soon.
5) I'm getting older and want to see one more in my lifetime.

They.

Sorry to disrupt the space/time equilibrium.

Totally agree here. The Baltimore loss actually makes me more confident, surprisingly. The more varied attacks Brock and Kyle see before the playoffs, the better. I don't want any surprises for them.

Just hoping we can win the next two and rest.
