I'd like to see Luter in some coverage vs Rams WRs.
Dunno why but I got high hopes for the guy.

I was gonna say that it'd be nice to have Purdy play a series, but then I thought about how limited of a training camp/preseason he got, and yet was still able to perform at a high level in Week 1 this year.
I wonder if the "ring rust" idea in these situations may apply more to offensive/defensive line play, and tackling.
Yea it's a tough balance. At this point KS will have to trust that his guys stay locked in and that the overall rest will outweigh any rust.

Do the Rams care whether they're playing the Cowboys or Lions? They're locked into the 6th seed unless Minnesota or Green Bay wins out and they lose. It seems like they'd match up better vs the Lions. I can't believe Green Bay controls their own destiny right now, they're horrible.

I think they'll probably prefer rest rather than going all out for seeding improvement when travel is happening no matter what.
They could rest to a win.

Bitter sweet....there is not another team I despise more than the Rams (Cowboys / Seahawks close second) and would love nothing more to see the Niners beat their ass. I'm sick of hearing the "No one wants to play the Rams" or "Rams are in the POs and the last time they were they went to the SB" b******t too. But resting for the three game tournament is critical too. I hope and would be ecstatic if our back ups and select starters continue the win streak vs. those @$$holes.
