My only concern going into the playoffs is our run defense. I would be so much more at ease about it if Armstead was a definite to come back and be ready to play.

Especially if we have to play the Rams

If I had to pick our biggest threat to knock us out of the playoffs it would be detroit. They can run the ball and stop the run.

It's ironic how everyone here is scared of the Rams and Cowboys and wants the Lions to beat both for us lol.
It's the QB. Stafford is the best and most proven of the three though not as mobile as Gaffe or Dak. With Armstead back our dline should be creating a lot more disruption than we're all used to. Should be fun no matter who is lined up in front of us!

GB and TB was my pick for easiest route. I just need someone to knock Detroit off. Lions would our toughest opponent we could possibly face.

Maybe.

In week 12, GB beat the Lions 29-22 without Aaron Jones. So there is that...

nothing is easy in the playoffs and football is not a kind sport for fans
I like the idea of a Green Bay--->Detroit path to Vegas. If they pull it off the 49ers will have beaten the entire NFC playoff field.

I always enjoy it when we beat GB. One of the teams I like to smack around coming from the Brett Favre days.

Then take care of the best AFC has to offer in the SB.

Don't necessarily disagree with you here but we all need to remember that Goff away from home, out of a dome and possibly in some elements, is just a completely different QB. Their offensive line and run game is elite but our offense would shred their defense apart and they would be forced to air it out. I don't think Detroit offers us much resistance here at home. If things went different and we had to face them in Detroit, maybe.

Lions also beat GB 34-20 week 4 with Aaron Jones.

I'd put more stock in later season games than early season unless there were significant injuries

GB was a much better team in the second half of the year.

I don't buy it. Bears, Vikings, Giants, Chargers. I don't want us to lose focus or disrespect an opponent, I just don't think they have anything for us as long as our defense don't play like the Cowboys.

Tampa isn't great, but they do have a lot of guys up front who can get after it. Baker played a great game vs PHI. Evans is a problem, and you double him and it opens up others. So I expect Tampa to keep pace with DET.
This is by far the easiest path it could be. The only way it could get easier is if we play the Texans in the SB. The only team we don't want to draw is the bills even though I expect Allen would air mail us at least 2 picks.

In the AFC I think the top team is as advertised, Baltimore. Then KC, as they have Mahomes who I feel is better than Josh Allen, and Reid, who I feel is better than McDermott. Then BUF. Then HOU.
