This is the answer for me. Could swap out KC for Baltimore for the same reason and that'd work for me too.
The cupcake "path of least resistance" route will invariably invite the moronic takes of talking heads like Nick Wrong arguing for an *asterisk to a Niners' championship…..f**k 'em

f**k them. We would have a ring that's all I care about. We've done nothing but lose NFCGS and Superbowls under KS and JH. I want a ring. Give me all the injured s**tty teams please.

They remind me of last years Giants, overachievers that manage to inflate their record by beating bottom tier opponents. I don't expect much from them in the playoffs.

honesttly they remind me more of the 2021 49ers they have way more talent than Giants last year. Stafford Puka and Kupp are 3 elite players

We know how to beat them though. Aside from that NFCCG when Trent was on one leg and Jimmy was being playoff Jimmy, when is the last time the Rams beat us?

I agree that id rather not see them if possible, considering they are hot and know us well, but im not afraid of them.

Most memorable if we beat the Eagles, Cowboys, and Ravens/KC in LV!
That would check the satisfaction and revenge factor for me.
Bit I honest don't care as long as we win the SB2024

lol no,The 2021 49ers team was way better and actually beat quality opponents . They underachieved to start the year because of injuries, and possibly the Trey vs Jimmy fiasco surrounding the organization. Rams are very fortunate to be where they're at due to a weaker NFC. If the Niners had a game like the Rams did against the Giants yesterday everyone would be calling them "1 & done"

im seriously laughing that they're fans worried about the LA Rams. I would welcome a divisional round match up against them with open arms.

Their rookie RB has been great as well.

That offense is legit, but they don't have much on defense. Donald can still take over games

Stafford is way better than Jimmy so no the 2021 niners wasn't way better. They underachieved because they had a meh QB starting. Don't be a homer and ignore how good the Rams have been playing. Doesn't mean we should fear them however because they're not world beaters. This team shouldn't fear anybody that crosses their way. I personally would love to see the Rams in the divisional if they were to make it that far and get payback for 2021. Brock would've beaten their candy asses if he was QB back then.

QBs don't make an entire 53 man roster and coaching staff, 2021 49ers swept a way better Rams team with Jimmy Garoppolo and would've beat them again if Jaquaski Tartt doesn't drop a gimme INT. Anyways, as far as this year, the 2023 Rams "hottest team in the league" headline is exageration, everyone for whatever reason falls in love with whatever team is winning in December no matter how mediocre they were beforehand. They should not have any 49ers fan losing any sleep
