There's no denial. Rams are a known commodity to us.
Rams fans have their one win against us in the NFCCG in the last few seasons to hang their hats on and we all know what it took for them to get that win. That was when the Rams were the Super Team too and still needed us to drop an easy pick, be unable to pick up a 2nd and 1 and all that with Trent Williams playing on one leg and Jimmy G playing injured.
I don't care how well they played Baltimore. I'll give Stafford and those guys all the credit they deserve. He's a great QB who can make some amazing throws which are impossible to defend.
But I've watched us beat them with Nick Mullens and a beat up roster while they had the #1 defense in the league. If we shoot ourselves in the foot and turn the ball over, commit crazy penalties and drop balls and miss passes we can lose to anyone but this is the playoffs. I trust our group to come out prepared to play whoever our opponent is and especially if it's the Rams given they ended our SB aspirations in 2021.
Simply I trust our offense over their defense more. And I trust our defense to come out refreshed and making enough plays to get the win.
It may not be a blowout game and people are all paranoid about Moody losing a close one for us...but I simply trust our team more. That's not delusion. None of the NFC teams have a better roster than us. So we SHOULD win.
Any given Sunday still applies but thinking we will beat the Rams isn't delusional.
