As a lot of you sit around the campfire chanting kumbaya while singing the Niners praises (because in your minds they've already won the Super Bowl), some of the realists here will remind y'all that this is a 12-5 team that boasts a top tier offense, and a middling defense. Not to mention a below average special teams boasting a 3rd round kicker who isn't living up to the hype and will probably cost us in the playoffs.

Sorry folks. We're not winning the SB. No way we're going through the Rams, then Dallas, and topping it off with a resounding victory against Baltimore. In reality, McVay's Rams will likely carve this inferior defense and we'll go home packing in 2 weeks. Or we'll pull off a miracle victory only to be humbled by a Dallas team seeking revenge in the NFCC game. Oh, and if we get through the gauntlet, Lamar Jackson and his defense will be licking their chops to put us out of our misery.

This loss to LA will come back to haunt us. But hey, there's always next year !
I despise fans that flat out say we're going to win or lose and nothing in between. Lock this trash post.

What you are saying is we would of been screwed either if we won or lost this game.

You are making it sound like the Rams are a powerhouse, so they would of beaten Dallas next week and beaten us the following week.

The 10-6 49ers in 1988 definitely never won the SB.
