Well one thing is for sure. I don't think our mediocre pass rush (full of star studded players) will do much to hinder Jordan Love. There's no reason to believe that the unit, which has underperformed this entire season, will all of a sudden turn on a switch and beat Love down. I'm hoping that AA can help plug the run and make the Packers one dimensional, thus allowing our LBs and secondary just play the pass and force errors.
Well one thing is for sure, you have some of the most idiotic posts I've seen on here in a long, long time. I'm sure many would agree with me, but your doom and gloom posts are not realistic and very flawed.
Our pass rush, especially since Chase Young came to our team has improved dramatically so you don't know what you're talking about. Also, we haven't had Armstead playing for what 6 games and Hargrave for a couple games yet we STILL have got a lot of pressures and have done pretty well with sacks. Not to mention, we LEAD the NFL in interceptions. Please stop talking you're just embarrassing yourself. Thanks anyway though for your warped opinions……."I'm Ron Burgundy???"
underperformed all season but basically has the same stats as last year. thats curious.
We have 4 more sacks this year than last season. That's the good thing of having multiple players who can rush the passer.
I do think it has been somewhat underwhelming recently but that can also be explained with the fact that we've had Armstead out since the Eagles game and he's a big piece of our DL puzzle. The other part was we played a bunch of mobile QBs where we have to rush a little more disciplined for - Hurts plan was basically keep him in the pocket and it worked to perfection.
If you think about it we've only had 4 games worth of the Bosa, Armsead, Hargrave and Young grouping.
Jags - 5 sacks
Bucs - 4 sacks
Seahawks - 6 sacks
Eagles - 3 sacks
That's like 38% of our team sacks in 24% of the games.
We'll see how the boys respond and how Arik looks after the long layoff for him.
