49ERS vs Packers Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Divisional Round

Hopefully,, someone in the Packers locker room will have pointed out by now to the rest of the team that a dirty, game-ending hit on a quarterback can be done by either side.

Honest officiating and no injuries.

It seems like 49er fans totally despise us as much as Our divisional rivals do? Is that true?

lol no. You're teams not even top 5 my man. a mix of Cowboys, Eagles, Ravens, Seahawks and Rams usually is every 49ers most hated teams. Maybe throw in a Chiefs instead of Ravens. If y'all started beating us then your team can earn it's way into the top 5

I also think early on Dallas was getting to Love more or at least making things somewhat uncomfortable for him. Their backend simply didn't hold up and Love was able to take advantage. It's critical for our guys to play well in the backend and I expect our guys to do just that. My biggest concern is having Brown out there(hopefully he's locked in and our communication is good)

One thing that made me pretty excited was listening to the Bosa/Young Q&A 49ers put out a few days ago and Nick mentions how playoff time guys get less selfish.

Honestly that kind of surprised me but it made sense. Contract time typically it's the regular season stats that stand out, those are the stats that get you awards to drive up contract value but in the playoffs #1 priority is winning the game. If the guys go into this game with the mind frame of 1. Do your job 2. Get the win. It will make things much harder for the Packers. If our DL rushes as a unit vs as individuals it will be big.

Let's just play the game already!

You have to admit we played very well against Dallas though.

This will be a tough game for both teams, but a lot of the advantages are currently swinging to the 49ers side (Home field, rest, etc). Do want to see clean officiating and no injuries. We already had our bad luck with injuries last year in the postseason.

next year the ACN is going to be a bloodbath with Packers and lions

It is not like the Vikings font have talent too

you can only play the teams in front of you

And Dallas was proven to be fake news. They matched up poorly vs GB and got exposed. Dallas was clearly not prepared. The coaching on both sides were awful. You think that's the case here?!

Packers are a fun story. They ain't at the level of SF. So let's keep s**t real

very surprised by the defense

packers had 7 interceptions for the entire regular season and have allowed multiple 100 yard WRs but then completely shut down CeeDee (till garbage time) and had 2 interceptions in the first half
The media is so funny. First it was the Rams that were the 49er's worst nightmare. Now it's the packers. It would have been the bucs, I mean baker is playing the best football of his career, amiright? All those weapons. It will be the lions next week (or the bucs). The media just wants to crap on us, and Purdy more specifically. A lot of it is clickbate, but a lot of it is just hate. I can't wait to smash the pack and whoever we play next week.

Never would want to see that happen to either side.

I put those two INTs on s**t play by Dak and horrible route running vs the packers playing great D.

Dak was horrendous. Missing open reads and inaccurate.

Like most teams that played GB this yr they were running the ball well vs them.

My Wife is a Packers fan, so I can't hate on them too much or Gloat when we win. At least not while she is around.

My hatred of the Packers had more to do with the mid to late 90s when you had Favre and they always seemed to beat us. Once he was gone, I didn't really feel much of a rivalry anymore.

Of course you took it to them. I'm not taking anything away from the Packers. You executed better on both sides of the ball. You were more physical and you took advantage of most mistakes they made. That's exactly what the 49ers have done most of this season which is why I think some discrediting GB are being hypocritical.

However I also believe we're a much better team than Dallas and we matchup better to Green Bay than Dallas did. But you still gotta play the game and prove it.

They looked amazing eeking out a 3 point win over Carolina while giving up 30 points and putting up 17 in a must win game against Chicago during that time period.

Thoughts?

Me? I already commented on it.

Calling 7 QBs terrific that includes Goff, Love, and Mayfield AND specifically singling out Brock as not being….well that makes her opinion on the topic complete horses**t.

i could careless what her previous job was, she was clearly horrible at it.

my whole debate about Brock was never saying he was bad or didn't possess some amazing QB traits…It was mostly about arm strength and overall I'm not wrong there. Also there's a ton of really good QBs who don't have that elite level arm talent… all said and done, I hope he becomes that Drew Brees level guy.

I need someone to call her on her BS. What exactly makes Mayfield or Goff "terrific"? Forget Love and just answer wtf those guys do that put them in the same category as Mahomes, Allen and Lamar, because that's exactly what she just did.

Should've just said we have 7 1st round picks and guys expected to be terrific and Brock Purdy, expected not to make the roster.

Lady Macbeth with an axe to grind.....can you be a little more "transparent," please?

Hey I admitted to you how much those playoff losses to you guys hurt. You guys have had the better of us.
