Alex Kemp's crew will be officiating our game tomorrow.

Is this bad or good?

Idk much but what I was reading is that his crew throws flags at a rate of 43% on the home team.

The kemp crew threw more flags than any other crew this year. I believe it was that they averaged 12 flags a game. They were the crew during the eagles v 49ers game

Yea. I looked up their stats for the year. They average 7 flags for the away team and 5 flags for the home team. His crew also officiated our game in week 1. Both games were blowout wins.

Would be nice if they called offensive holding on Bosa.

Since we are the home team, I hope we get those calls, but I doubt it. He's held so often and it's almost never called. I think bosa needs to do a better job getting his hands up and drawing attention to it. He almost never does.

i think also depends on how the game goes. If we are blowing them out, they won't call it to try and keep the game competitive.

it may be semantics ... My point/post is that they are going to bait Purdy on this same defensive play calling.

and i hope savage's aggressiveness leaves things open down field if Purdy can recognize it

Bait what?? that's my point of this whole little debate.

savage didn't bait Dak into throwing it there….that WR was never suppose to be the read and wasn't open… If he threw it to the correct read, like he's suppose to, it's a first down and more all day. They ran a fire zone blitz and he's an underneath defender while the blitz came. He didn't bait s**t, he ran to his spot as a defender and Dak threw him the ball.

it was 100% on Dak and being horrible at processing/reading a defensive play call that wasn't that difficult.

He moved ten yards up because the linebacker was blitzing and he was meant to cover Cooks. He saw Dak eyeing CeeDee the entire way and knew he had a linebacker and a safety covering him, so he jumped off his man. Nice anticipation, nice play. He took film study to the field. But still thats on Dak. He threw to the one congested part of the field because it was Ceedee or nothing. Literally every other WR is open. Bad play call and design as well though, but thats a different story.

The defense as a whole baited Dak into throwing it there, it worked lol

Haven't you heard that GB DL saying if they pressure Purdy they will get a TO.. this is exactly what they are going to do

No denying the Packers are a really good team that seemed to put it together the last half of this season.

What I'm not certain yet is if they are a team that can compete for a Super Bowl this year. This game will answer that question however.

The winner of this game will be in the Super Bowl.

There was not baiting, which is my point (and what he's saying happened).

He became the underneath defender while the LBer blitz. He went to the spot and Dak threw it right at him. Good on Savage to doing his job and catching the ball there.

I'm glad we both agree that play was on Dak more than anyone else.

That's part of the defensive game, baiting QBs to make mistakes

Pound the rock all day and then some.

Purdy is the best QB in the league against pressure.

Good on your coaches for cherry picking the film clips and looping them in the meeting room to give your defense hope.

Dak doesn't need to be baited to make mistakes in the playoffs.

Purdy has made some mistakes over the middle.. but if our run game can get off to a great start, that middle will be open for him

He moved to where he was SUPPOSED move to lol. That's why it was on Dak. He's throwing the ball to an area that will have a S just sitting there. That Savage's zone to cover. It wasn't some crazy anticipation by Savage.

He was basically standing there getting the world's easiest INT.

You're arguing semantics and not looking at the defense play call and what his job was on that play…unless you think Jonny is wrong & it wasn't a fire zone blitz?

Brock very seldom has an issue with processing the field. His INT's are not because he read a defense wrong. His INT's have come from receivers not doing their job properly like the first one in the vikings game. Tipped passes have been the reason for atleast 3. He has also had some where the defense has the play covered well and he gets outside the pocket and instead of just throwing it away, he tries to do too much and presses it. But processing? Nah. You leave Aiyuk or Deebo wideassopen down the sideline like the packers left Lamb, them boys getting cooked.

Wyatt and Kenny Clark are both very good at getting to the QB. Add in Rashan Gary on the outside and GB can bring the pressure. Burford and McKivitz will have to be on their game.

He isn't the best against just pressure. He's good but not the best. He is the best in the league against the blitz though. Demonstrated by his best in the league TD:INT ratio and passer rating.
