I wish this game could be at Lambeau.

Our O line is very good.

It is indeed. In true pass sets pressure efficiency, the packers O line ranks 2nd out of 14 playoff teams.

So hyped for AA to be back. Bosa, AA, Hargrave, Young. holy moly.

So you could witness the Niners beating the Packers at Lambeau once again?

The defense as a whole baited Dak into throwing it there, it worked lol

Haven't you heard that GB DL saying if they pressure Purdy they will get a TO.. this is exactly what they are going to do

Purdy is the best QB in the league against pressure.

Good on your coaches for cherry picking the film clips and looping them in the meeting room to give your defense hope.

He isn't the best against just pressure. He's good but not the best. He is the best in the league against the blitz though. Demonstrated by his best in the league TD:INT ratio and passer rating.

Any QB will look bad if the opposing defense can get pressure with just their front 4. That is the recipe for beating a really good QB.

Zach Tom (RT) is very good at both RBLK and PP. Walker is good at PP, but not so good at RBLK. They shut down Dallas' pass rush pretty well. We will have a better chance against their Center and RG.

I don't think anyone wants to play football in the single digit temperatures.

If it was at lambeau, I'd be a lot more concerned, for sure. It's pouring snow where I am - so I imagine it's crazy there. That kind of weather can become a great equalizer when our defenses are lopsided (performance wise).

i know I've said on here many times that I expect niners to handle this game relatively easy, but I will say that your team has a bright future. Tons of quality young talent on offense like the receivers, TEs, and o line. You guys need another back to compliment Jones and then a lot of work on defense. Id argue a new defensive coordinator but idk enough about your defense to really be adamant on that.

i was very vocal in the off season and early this year that love woukdnt be very good, he's proven me wrong. Kudos to him. Even though I expect you guys to lose this game - you have alot to look forward to.

Didn't the Niners beat the Packers in the last playoff meeting at Lambeau?

Having a fresh AA is going to be massive, specially when it comes to stopping their run game. Without him, I think it would be a lot tougher. He has also had a huge year pass rushing (pressure wise). He gobbles up two o lineman and that makes everything easier for everyone else.

Yeah and it was a snow game. Jimmy g at the helm. Lol I like our chances with Brock but I don't like those kind of games. They're very hard on the players bodies.

it's comical that some think this is going to be a close game. We will probably punt once or twice and it'll be in the fourth while we are trying to kill time. Green Bay isn't in the same realm when it comes to quality of the team. These young guys on offense are going to be confused and beaten down.

They sure didn't look all that confused against the Cowboys.

Lafleur will have them ready. He knows our defensive system quite well.
Saw this former Packer/current fanboy all over twitter this week and he's been talking about his big film review reveal.

Was curious to see what he would say after actually going through and watching the 49ers.

I'll give the guy credit...he put in a lot of work and he certainly used a LOT of words to high level the position rankings. But it's crazy to me how the dude overlooks his clear bias when discussing this.

Guy goes through great effort to bash Purdy as basically getting away with stuff he shouldn't get away with. Hmm...maybe he's better than you think? Nah, just a 7th round pick who's getting lucky time and time again.

Either way I thought it would be interesting to see another POV on the matchup.

Your OL is setup similar to ours (without an all decade all-pro at LT) it's massively dependent on play-action, running tons of motions pre-snap, personnel groupings and scheme.

staying ahead the chains and playing with a lead masks deficiencies in the OL. Not a ton of true pass-sets needed.

I really think the cowboys were a joke. I don't mean that in a way to diminish what the packers did, they played awesome and dominated them but I also don't think the cowboys were an elite team. They're a talented team with piss poor leadership and are super soft. All year, they struggled against any good teams and are a different team when they face adversity.

Same way we demolished the cowboys, they aren't in the same class as us (cowboys). I think the score will be 38-20, with the packers getting a touchdown late. I don't see their defense stopping us many times and I think that'll put their offense in a bind. Our defense is legit, especially when rested and healthy.
