That one hurt a lot since it was at Lambeau.

lol I love it. Please keep doubting this team.

it's why I'm so fired up…even as the #1 seed an one of the best team in the league, we STILL don't get any credit.

f**k that s**t.

This and more of this. What an absolute blessing to be the #1 seed, treated as the underdog. I don't give a poo what the media says anymore, the only dog they have in the fight is ratings. Those who truly have a dog in this fight are the oddsmakers in Vegas, and they have the Niners favored by 10, and the best odds to win the Super Bowl.

Is that real? That's the first time I see majority pick GB over SF.

I don't think so? This was the one they showed on the official NFL preview. Guessing he was just making a point.

Yah I was just about to post this.
It's a good thing the niners have to play the NFL's hottest team and best QB tomorrow.

Otherwise everyone would say we dispatched a weak team that didn't belong in the playoffs.

Prove it.
Go Niners.

Lambeau hasn't been the same since Vick
Fake. Here's what NFL.com's game preview predictions.

Why? That was our best chance.

They are still the 7th seed for a reason. As far as their QB we've witnessed that organization waste 2 hall of fame talents already so I'm doubtful it will lead to much.

"Best QB"? Laughable.
The sorry ass Packers will know why they're a 7th seed 5 mins into the game

You kind of saw why. Can't imagine how badly the Bengals offense would have chewed up that Packers defense… if* the Packers would have even been able to beat the Rams at home.
I think that the talking head types on TV should be made to watch JonnyDel's latest video on the 49ers/Packers match-up before they go shooting their mouths off about how good Jordan Love is and what a threat the Packers are going to be tomorrow. Now, I have to preface this by saying that I am generally an any-given-Sunday kind of guy. You never know what is going to motivate a term to come out and have a good game and I think ANY team in the NFL is capable of beating any other team under the right set of circumstances, regardless of their records going in, but one of the things I really like about Jonny's videos is how he shows that things aren't always what they seem.

I'll look at a play where a guy gets tackled for a loss and think, well that was pretty bad, and then I'll watch Jonny's breakdown and see where the back missed the hole that would have made a much bigger play. Or how the play got blown up because a WR missed their block. That's what I took away from Jonny's Green Bay breakdown. Love had a few plays where he hit guys where no one was around them and Jonny is pointing out how the defense screwed up. Or they'll be a play where Love is holding the ball and holding the ball and buying time and finally hits his guy, and Jonny will show how he had exactly the same throw available right at the start of the play, which is where Brock probably would have hit it, and all of that other stuff was just unnecessary.

But the talking heads see Love running around and hitting wide open guys and are saying, "oh, look at what a stud Jordan Love is, much better than Purdy." While most of them finally do get around to picking the Niners, it takes them forever to get there and you get the feeling that a lot of them would much rather pick Green Bay. Hopefully, Niners will go out on Saturday and put a proper beatdown on them. Go Niners!

You Niner fans think we have a bright future with Love?

He looks pretty good throwing the ball and he is cheap for a few more years. I'm not sure he reads defenses at a truly high level though which might be limiting despite his apparently good general decision making. The slow reads could relegate him to good and eventually expensive but not good enough. Will be interesting to see him against good linebackers tomorrow.

Speaking of linebackers, GB might want to spend some of the QB savings on them. SF has a good cheap QB too and what appears to me to be a significantly better overall team. My take is GB has some ground to make up and SF might simply be sustainably better. Fun stuff though as fans of either team.

Was curious to see what he would say after actually going through and watching the 49ers.

I'll give the guy credit...he put in a lot of work and he certainly used a LOT of words to high level the position rankings. But it's crazy to me how the dude overlooks his clear bias when discussing this.

Guy goes through great effort to bash Purdy as basically getting away with stuff he shouldn't get away with. Hmm...maybe he's better than you think? Nah, just a 7th round pick who's getting lucky time and time again.

Either way I thought it would be interesting to see another POV on the matchup.

The idea that you need a great NFL arm to win I think is BS and proven wrong many times over.

You do need a GREAT ARM if you can't process the field well. What would Kaepernick look like as an NFL QB with Purdy's arm on intermediate and long throws? LOL.

The deep out that only Elway, Allen, and a few other QBs can throw........wonderful, cool story. That's like saying you can't run a dual threat offense unless you have Lamar/Hurts/Allen/Kap/Newton/Wilson athleticism? Ok great.........none of them have rings like Brady and Montana.

If Purdy's arm was truly a problem, there's just no way he would have the stats or NFL wins at the rate he does........and I don't care if you gave him a true all pro OL, and found a way to give him Kelce or LaPorta at TE2 and Justin Jefferson in among the WR trio. It just can't happen......not over this many games.

I remember in the late '80s seeing an NFL Today pregame show going over the Saints' brilliant game plan to stop Joe Montana.......it was comical (and I was about ten years old but still remember it), and it involved trying to make Montana throw to certain parts of the field and if so, they could win.

Of course it failed, but it's funny that even the GOAT had that aspect to deal with.

What many casual fans fail to realize is that playing NFL QB in a way is about exploiting all the easy opportunities available as much as creating. By that I mean that there's often receivers open on most plays on most teams, but it's that hard to find them in general. I'd say Purdy does the best job in the NFL right now at finding opportunities and hitting them. The kind of play processing brain that if Alex Smith or Garoppolo had, we probably would've won the Super Bowl with those guys. Purdy is more accurate than both, but it wasn't like those two were inaccurate. Purdy is just next level at playing the position calmly and pocket awareness and extending compared to those guys.

Jordan Love will eventually find out what it's like to face a real elite defense, and we'll see how much of last week was overblown.

CJ Stroud made some great throws under pressure last week. Pretty dope stuff and maybe Purdy can't do it as well/often as he can, but that's such a minor part of the game.

But can CJ make all the right reads all the time? Time will tell, but he hasn't shown enough yet to show he's better than Purdy.

The fact that Purdy has essentially proven he can do all this with barely a year of actual starting experience is insane. Maybe if Matt Ryan had this ability they would've won that SB with ease when the offense stalled....

Man, I cannot wait....
