I checked out the subscription services and would need to subscribe to 5 different ones to get the channels I watch on Directv. I would also need to get their expanded services to get the premium channels which is even more money. After all that I still would't be able to be NBCSports Bat Area in Eugene which I love because I get Warriors and Giants games on that channel. Those streaming services aren't cheaper when you start adding the premium services and in my area they aren't as reliable .

In all honesty, you only need one subscription to watch every single regular season primetime and playoff game and that is NFL+. Recently, the NFL app has allowed me to mirror my phone to my TV screen which I wasn't able to do in the past. My main issue has been when the Fox sports app stopped allowing me to use a fake gps location so I can watch non primetime 49ers games. Which sucks because I live on the east coast and I am not paying for the Sunday ticket.

I just heard that the Dolphins-Chiefs game will be the first playoff game shown exclusively on a subscription channel (Peacock). Guys this sucks. It's an experiment and a precursor for the money grubbing NFL to go full pay for view for playoff games. Worse will be when they spread it out between 3 or 4 different services.

Will local stations broadcast the game?

Yes. Only in the Chiefs and Dolphin markets which leaves most of the country out.

There are free trials for peacock and a lot of promos. I know some are dead set on not doing it but i actually like the shows it comes with.

The NFL is slowly finding ways to lock all the so called sneaky ways to view games without paying. They even block radio broadcasts. I don't doubt that there are still ways to watch without paying but it's a pain in the butt to have to surf around looking for this stuff. It's just much easier to turn on the TV and go right to the channel you want to watch without signing in and then signing in again if you switch to another game on a different streaming channel. Don't kid yourself either. The more that these streaming services carry the more they will charge. If YouTube actually loses nearly $1 Billion dollars this year I wouldn't be shocked to see a price increase next year.

Not worried about the Rams, I mean..no. Our offense will ride high all over that s**t. Defense will be rested and come out hungry and wanting vengeance over that b******t we saw a couple years ago.

Packers..hot streak but that is gunna end come Dallas..unless they pull off some miracle---not gunna happen. If it does..we have the miracle that is Brock Purdy, check mate

Bucs..Bosa is gunna have Baker for lunch again, we are gunna mow them down. Total domination.

Not worried about any of these teams.

I appreciate the confidence but I worry about every opponent. Any given Sunday is a real thing

Yes, that's why there's always some level of nervousness with every football game.

The difference is the level of worry. Cowboys, Eagles, Ravens brought about high levels of concern....second Seahawks game. The first Rams game somewhat.

Playoffs will bring some concern, but shouldn't be the feeling of "can we beat this team?" like we had with Seattle those years, Dallas in the '90s.

I think the biggest issue quite frankly is the high expectation set for this team. The advantage in 2019 was that the team was very good but still very much an unknown and not well prepared for versus the current team where everyone knows they're great and guns hard for them.

But in the end, we finally have the QB.....we have CMC, and for the defense, they're battle tested.

The next THREE games are gonna be great. Just enjoy.

I am reading how streaming will become "cable" soon enough with high pricing and baked in commercials regardless

I can't see any road team going on the road this postseason and getting it done in these tight windows after 17 game football seasons. One would think the Rams could win but DET didn't win 12 games this year for nothing

Thats the ONLY team I can see winning on the road but I just seeing those teams going 3-0 in the NFC this weekend
add Hurts hurt finger and Aj Browns tweeked knee.. and Tampa has a real good shot

I just dont think the Eagles defense can stop Evans/Godwin with Baker playing solid this year which is why I'm taking them to win it at home. The only reason I see Eagles pulling out a win is with Goodell helping them to give us another 49ers vs Eagles game which would be great ratings.
TB only beat Carolina with 3 FGs. A game TB needed to win. CAR also put a pounding to Baker's already injured ribs.

Eagles defense is a lot better than CARs so who knows

Eagles defensive front maybe better but their secondary is ranked 2nd to last in yards allowed and is ranked last in 3rd down stops. Panthers are ranked 3rd in yards allowed through the air so I wouldn't say the Eagles defense is a lot better. Giants are 2nd to last in offensive passing while the Bucs are 17th and the Giants whooped the Eagles hard. With the way the Eagles have been playing I don't seem them winning unless they just magically flip the switch or Goodell intervening. It'll be interesting to watch though at the end of the day lol..

my fault.. I meant Defensive front (not overall) who can put some hits to an already injured Mayfield

I wouldn't argue that Philly's pass defense is better in rankings... but Car isn't a team where you need to pass on

Honestly, this is me.

Everyone here is afraid of the Rams and wants to play the Bucs or Eagles. Me? We could play the Panthers and I would be afraid lol. NFL playoffs are stressful beyond any other league. You could be the better team on paper in every measure yet still have unpredictable things happen over a 3 to 3.5 hour span.

Bucs cannot run the ball very well. They haven't run the ball well in years. Which is why they struggled to generate offense against a top notch CAR pass defense. TB should have an easier time generating offense against PHI because the bucs strength is a huge weakness for the eagles.
Let's be realistic here. This is only one of the reasons that the games are played ($). Everyone thought that the Niners would absolutely crush the Ravens. But, who knew that the Ravens would be in the right place at the right time (for them). Who knew that passes would bounce off of Niners hands and into Ravens hands. This kind of stuff is also part of and why the games are played. So let's not pretend that the Niners will march through the rest of the NFL to a SuperBowl. They are going to have to take each game one at a time. Just like the rest of the teams in the NFL. And this ain't about fearing that the Niners will lose. This is about knowing that if the Niners play like the best team that they are in the NFL, they'll be very hard to beat 😎

the way I look at it, if you get beat, well you deserved your L. It's like that CLE game. Can't have the ball slipping out of your hand and whiff field goals and expect to be handed the W. Can't scheme it up like that at end of half in the Vikings game. Can't have Brock turning it over like that in the Cincy game. So if you don't deserve the W, you don't get it. Nothing to be nervous over. The ones that get me are games where we had the game, with 10 point leads, and we gave the game away. Sometimes with a lead, you no longer attack the game, you try to protect the lead, and things go sideways.

I for one, did not think we would crush the ravens. I thought it would be a close hard fought game that would end in a score of 27-24 with us coming out on top.

I am interested in anyone who is worried about the NFC playoffs, explain to me who they are worried about and why. I am not interested in hot streaks or years past results. I want matchups and other things pertaining to head to heads.

Just based on that, they pose the biggest threat.

Lmao no….theres a lot more to football games than just the qb. Besides Brock Purdy > Stat Padford this season

I would welcome a match-up with the Rams with open arms. We need some payback after blowing that nfc championship 2 years ago anyways

Stat Padford might be the best nickname of all time.

Eagles are pretty banged up as well on offense and the bucs have the better defense so...
