My God, according to the national media Jordan Love has turned into f**king Tom Brady and is gonna come into San Francisco and railroad us.... my lord

I work remotely for a company out of WI. They are legit expecting to win on the wings of St. Love.

It's all about a 1st round pick versus 7th round pick. It won't change until Purdy is Super Bowl MVP three years in a row.

You Niner fans think we have a bright future with Love?

He looks pretty good throwing the ball and he is cheap for a few more years. I'm not sure he reads defenses at a truly high level though which might be limiting despite his apparently good general decision making. The slow reads could relegate him to good and eventually expensive but not good enough. Will be interesting to see him against good linebackers tomorrow.

Speaking of linebackers, GB might want to spend some of the QB savings on them. SF has a good cheap QB too and what appears to me to be a significantly better overall team. My take is GB has some ground to make up and SF might simply be sustainably better. Fun stuff though as fans of either team.

he's cheap for 2024 only and the Pack will need to pay him if he continues to play well next season.

I had typed up a stupid comment. You are right and I didn't realize it. They run into QB cost issues before we do.

I don't remember the "rest vs. rust" question being debated so damn much ad nauseam till it's run into the f**king ground about one team among all the teams that have had first round playoff byes over the years. Why is it suddenly a BFD with this year's 49ers. To think the actual coaches and players obsess this damn much about such an idea having more time off between real games than all the other playoff teams is a fool's errand.

The defense as a whole baited Dak into throwing it there, it worked lol

Haven't you heard that GB DL saying if they pressure Purdy they will get a TO.. this is exactly what they are going to do

If that's baiting then every single defensive play call is baiting lol.

that was just a piss poor read pre/post snap. No one needed to bait anything, guy was never open to being with.

good I hope they do that, Brock isn't close to what Dak is as far a processing goes. Blitz all day.
yes baiting happens a lot. it also happens on offense.. it's why we call some coaches chess players and some checker players

this isn't some new thing

We've all heard this narrative that the Packers are hot right now, have been playing playoff games since December, have finally figured it out and Love finished the season looking like one of the best QBs. Remember what their schedule looked like...they are 4-2 in the past 6 games. They beat the fraudulent cowboys, the bears, the vikings w/o cousins, and the panthers. They lost to the buccaneers and giants. What a f**king gauntlet.

If you are Packers QB and you beat DAL and CHI, you are crowned king. Some teams just have different standards, thank you Jed.
What do you make of this?

It's a good thing the niners have to play the NFL's hottest team and best QB tomorrow.

Otherwise everyone would say we dispatched a weak team that didn't belong in the playoffs.

Prove it.
Go Niners.

"Best QB"? Laughable.

I'm mimicking the national obsession with Green Bay this week.

Another hot take person who won't admit they were an idiot for doubting the 49ers

From the stats I saw, Jordan Love hasn't been great against zone coverage this season. He looked good against zone coverage in the DAL game but DAL tried to run a scheme they don't nomally run. Dude also cherry picked games that Brock threw INT's in.

It's like what Deion said going into the 1994 Superbowl against the Chargers. "The whole world knew we were going to beat the brakes off the Chargers, so they needed to make some storylines."

Lets be honest. The NFC has some very boring brackets now that Dallas, Philly, and LA are out of it (thanks to me). So now you need to spice up the headlines so that there is just as much interest as the AFC matchups. So why not prop up Love and Baker as the up and coming superstars that are going to shock the world. Putting Brock aside, even Goff and the Lions arent getting any love this week from the media machine. It's all about the underdogs. Not to mention the masses that are obsessed with everything Cowboys just want SF to lose so they can wipe some of that shame off their face for losing to a 9 win seven seed...
