49ERS vs Packers Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Divisional Round

Just cherry picking stats.

Most teams QBs have a worse TD:INT ratio in losses. Jordan Love has 9TD and 10 INTs in losses this year.

Talking about the 49ers run defense under certain conditions. The Packers are 28th in the league in opponent rushing yards. Theres no qualifiers necessary. Road games on the west coast after its dark in a dome or something. Its just 28th against the rush. And the 49ers are a top 3 rushing team. Without QB stats, they are number 1 with the best RB in the league.

No problem using stats and trying to dive in, but no mention of the other side of the coin?

I like how he cherry picked the teams that were the "toughest." He leaves off playoff teams such as the Steelers, eagles, and Bucs. Say what you will those teams actually made the playoffs.

From the stats I saw, Jordan Love hasn't been great against zone coverage this season. He looked good against zone coverage in the DAL game but DAL tried to run a scheme they don't nomally run. Dude also cherry picked games that Brock threw INT's in.

Agree, but his take on our run defense seems right.

does it ?
Not to mention the injuries to big Trent Arik and Deebo. They are fully healthy and rested so they will be at the top of their game barring stupid mistakes. This game should be easy for us after watching Johnny Dels take on the Packers victory and why the Cowboys blew it. Now Jordan came out of no where but they don't have the experience we do and the stars all over the field. It's the NFL and still remember losing to the Packers even though we had the number one seed. They caught us off guard and we played like crap 💩

AA missing five games had a big impact on those stats

My God, according to the national media Jordan Love has turned into f**king Tom Brady and is gonna come into San Francisco and railroad us.... my lord

I work remotely for a company out of WI. They are legit expecting to win on the wings of St. Love.

It's all about a 1st round pick versus 7th round pick. It won't change until Purdy is Super Bowl MVP three years in a row.

It's more like he's now a combination of prime Brady, Mahomes, Allen, Brees, Jackson, Young, Montana, Marino, Vick, Manning, Johnny U. All in 1 ultimate, hybrid QB god of all time.

Iirc, the team did not have a great running game because they lost Watters to FA before the season. Reggie White and that Dline had a field day as a result.
I just want to see Lenoir do that dance over another body he just laid out

Yep they also had Farve, love is not that good yet. Watters was the biggest loss after the superbowl victory. We only had Derrick Lovell as the number 1 back. Deion was a big loss but Watters was more important.

yes baiting happens a lot. it also happens on offense.. it's why we call some coaches chess players and some checker players

this isn't some new thing

Dude you're proclaiming every single defensive call is "baiting" with the way you're trying to not be wrong about something.

you went from Savage was "baiting" to the whole team was. The reality of that play was Dak was an idiot and savage was in the spot he eas suppose to be in. It wasn't some magical play from him.

I think the niners threw the ball like 66 times in that game. Lol that's absurd in todays game, it's crazier than all hell to do in the 90s.

packers had an amazing d line those years. They don't have a bad one right now but nothing special. Very different situation.

It also didnt help that the 49ers first offensive play resulted in a fumble returned for a TD. Was 21-0 Packers before anything happened lol.
