im feeling mighty confident the night before.....

Packers don't know what they're in for.

We beat SF the last time out there 30-28. I think it could be another close game.

Jimmy G is not our QB anymore and you don't have Rodgers anymore who only needed <2 mins and a timeout to get a FG. Dumb, low effort and low football IQ take. Might as well say, "Last time we played SF in 1995 playoffs as an underdog, we beat them". Just as irrelevant.

Yup, horrible take. Another close game…..maybe if we bench almost all our starters delusional fans. Gotta love it

Looks like a steady rain throughout the day including through the game. Yikes

i know a lot of people say not to worry about it. But i am, not going to lie. Just because the last time we played in the rain I thought Purdy struggled. He seemed to have trouble gripping the ball at times. That doesn't mean he cant throw a wet ball but i do think their is the question if he can. Of course their is different level of rain. I would feel much more confident playing a snow game tomorrow then a heavy rain game. That being said i still think we win win rain or not. Just might have to lean more on the running attack.

With it raining, I think it'll be a close game all the way to the end.

If you look at Jennings comments I think he is tipping his hand that this is going to be a run heavy game plan.

I'm sure that's the plan but that will be thrown out the window if Kyle thinks there are chances to make pass plays.

haha yup

Juaun returning is huge for the run game.

I think getting back AA and Jennings is massive for us. Not just for this game but the playoffs.

havinf his experience, toughness, third down ability, run blocking etc in over bell is so comforting.

It rained last year (heavier as the game went on) against Seattle in the wild card and we STILL stomped them…I expect close to the same—this year's Niners team thrives with extra rest and prep

Look I'm trying to be respectful. I hope it's another close game.

Lol I respectfully hope it isn't close but I feel that way about every game.

like I said earlier, idk if you saw it, but you have a lot to be optimistic about. Tons of good young talent. Your problem is your defense. If anyone knows, it's us 49ers fans, to get the most out of this offense - you need a good defense. This offense is executed best when you're playing close or above, not from behind.

obviously that can be said about everyone but what I'm really pointing out is that this offense is most effective with balance/run game. Otherwise it looks a major dynamic to it. I think your defense is going to force you to not be able to balanced and try to play catch-up.

It'll be a light rain, If it actually rains. I hope it doesn't. Lol I hate that s**t. So annoying to see turnovers or dropped balls cause of the weather.
What I am thinking of rn

no worries, Niner bros, the 49ers are battle tested, rain will not stop them. I'm pretty excited for the game. If the weather is a problem, Kyle will adjust. we can do the old, "run it 40 times and we win" plan

I just hope we don't lose 5 times in a row against SF in the playoffs. Damn that would hurt.

It's about to hurt. We've worked all year for this we've had the best team in the NFL the last two seasons. It's time to seal the deal and we are winning two games at home to send it into Vegas. You're in our way
CMC and Kittle all day
Biggest difference maker in this game and the playoff run is CMC. No one is talking about him. The Packers have not faced the Niners with CMC. He's a generational talent. He can carry a bad offense on his back and win games. He's special. Even if he was our only playmaker he would be hard to stop.

If CMC is healthy and rested (which he is) it's hard to see how this team doesn't win the Superbowl. There's no holding back now. The full CMC will be unleashed. We should ride him all the way. Just like we shoulda done with Frank.
