As we know any given Sunday but come on this is nonsense.

Think it's just to drum up something to talk about. The Niners are head and shoulders better than everyone else in the NFC, but still any given Sunday. No one's saying we should actually be afraid of any of these teams.

I think he completed a pass to Crabtree right before the end of regulation, but my god.....Vernon Davis saved us from being embarrassed.

It's why Jim Harbaugh tried to get this team as far away from him as possible. The Alex Smith apologists like to point to Karl's failures as the starter, or how the team came up short 3 consecutive years, but they fail to acknowledge that Alex Smith held this team back for years, and he didn't do much better in KC. If anything, Reid followed our playbook and got rid of him as soon as the next best thing came along. The difference ? Our next best thing was Colin Kaepernick. The Chiefs got Patrick Mahomes

here is the depth chart at WR that year:
  • 15 Michael Crabtree
  • 19 Ted Ginn Jr. RS
  • 13 Joe Hastings
  • 18 Brett Swain
  • 10 Kyle Williams

And Ted ginn was out thats why Kyle williams was returning punts

Tbf, we had that game won and lost it because of dumbass Williams. So hoping for a home NFCC game against a lesser opponent is never the wrong move. Just it's playoff football and things happen.

the main reason I think we've never won a chip since 2011 is because our team was built around playing mistake free football and if we made a mistake, we weren't good enough to over come it.

this year we are built on a ridiculously good offense and a very good defense. We can put up 30+ if we need to, under jimmy we needed everytbing to go right and the defense to get turnovers for that to happen.

Lost it mostly because the offense couldn't covert a single 3rd down.

Don't forget the fumble that got called forward progress

Even if Karl?
The Rams are probably the biggest threat in the NFC. I don't trust the defense to hold Stafford, Kupp, and Puka in check. Purdy will have to out score them

Yikes.
Don't forget Josh Morgan got hurt in garbage time against Tampa Bay, he was suppose to have a big year, Braylon Edward, never amounted to anything. and I know everyone hates Kyle Williams, but he made some solid plays throughout the regular season.

Almost and should have lost to the bottom feeder Giants, barely held on to be Washington and the Saints who aren't much better. Rams are not a "threat"

They still have to get past the Lions who have a very stingy run defense. Not only is the Lions run D 2nd in the league in yards per game but they are also 3rd in the league in yards per rush attempt. This hot streak the rams have been on is mostly due to the emergence of Kyren Williams. Matthew Stafford isn't even a top 10 passer this season and has only 24 TD's to his 11 INT's is 15th in the league in passer rating.

Yeah this tired narrative about the rams is a joke. Their D is below average, they can't get turnovers and they still don't have a goof OL. Stafford still throws too many balls to the wrong team and the Rams were embarrassing vs too many horrible teams like the giants and Washington

Division rivalries are different. Saying the Rams almost lost to NY, Washington, and New Orleans doesn't mean much. We see them twice a year. They know all our tendencies and IIRC Stafford was carving this defense up in the first game (minus Cupp) before his own player tipped a pass to Oliver (haha) and changed the game around.

Home field means nothing when it's your division rivals. You ppl better be PRAYING that Detroit cleans up the mess by taking down LA, and hopefully does one better by beating down Dallas. Or we are in deep trouble
sorry if posted. Dak gonna Daked again. Some bulletin board material. Dude has punched his ticket to the Superbowl already:😆

"I've got a lot of Louis Vuitton stuff,'' Prescott told a small group of reporters after concluding his press conference at The Star on Thursday afternoon. "It's because of the LV is Las Vegas.

"If I look at my bag, it's all LV, literally.''

Ok Mr."12-5 isn't good enough to win a Super Bowl" aka mr. "It's time to panic after losing a meaningless game where all our starters were in street clothes by the 2nd half", They see us twice a year,"know all our tendencies", and Shanahan is still, what? 10-5 against McVay all time? 9-2 since 2019? Niners own LA, and have beaten better Rams squads than this current team. only way they lose to them is if they turn the ball over and beat themselves, that goes out to the entire NFC.

49ers may see the Rams next weekend, and when they beat the crap out of them, I'm going to come back on this forum and laugh at all of you who thought they were a legitimate threat.
