Looking at the weather radar, doesn't look like much rain as of 630am PST. Maybe it won't be bad at kickoff.

I know folks get annoyed with the reports and me too! But weather.com hourly has light rain 3PM to 6PM and then 6PM and rest of night heavier rain. Get those air yards in the first 45 minutes.

Not afraid of rain but I was hoping for an air show. Brandon and Brock have become my favorite duo. Hope the ball isn't too slick.

Go 9ers . I have a feeling this is one of those huge blowouts ala Dallas and Philly.

The 49ers have a better running game than the Pack. If Love can't throw then they haven't got much left.

I agree with this. We should have the better running game. Especially considering our defense is better at stopping the run. My only concern is if Purdy struggles to throw in the rain while Love doesn't. Not saying that will happen but it could. Some QBs just don't play good in the rain, while others do. We don't have enough sample size to say Purdy struggles in the rain. But it is definitely a concern of mine given the Browns game.

this is true. I see blue skies

I have no idea what the actual weather will be during the game but having lived in the Bay Area for over 50 years prior to my move to Oregon I can say that the weather forecasts there are usually for the worst outcome. If they forecast little or no rain people get upset. If they forecast a downpour and it doesn't happen then everyone is happy.
tough to forecast here.. ever part of the bay can have different types of weather

No kidding. I've actually seen it rain on one side of the street and not the other.
It looks fairly clear with some chance of rain. Looks like rain honestly after the game is more likely. Maybe some small amount or none during the game. Which would be great.

Mostly drizzle most likely…

It's coming down hard in San mateo. Maybe the rain will force Shanahan to stick to running ball

That's a great idea for him. Don't get cute against the Packers.
The percentage chance of rain does not look that high around game time. But who knows? It looks like later.

That's not really what the forecast shows. Looks like less than half chance to rain during game time and more likely later. So maybe we avoid it or get a sprinkling.
are any of you by Santa Clara and can get us an accurate weather report? If you go outside do your knees hurt? Are cows lying down? Too many conflicting reports so far in this thread.

thats not what weather.com or accuweather are saying. both have 60+ % chance of steady rain from 6pm-11pm tonight.
Hey guys, do they have a cover over the field?
