Sample size got a little bigger. Remains that Brock struggles in heavy rain. There was a number of throws where he struggled to grip the ball. Got roasted earlier in the thread, but i think it was obvious tonight. Give him credit for making plays when he needed to. Made a couple really nice throws late. Dude is a gamer.

Lol Californians freak out about rain more than anyone haha. Showers=historic rainfall/tsunami/monsoonal flooding/once in a century super storm
I must have heard the announce team mention the weather WELL over 200 times.
Ugly win but a classic. I'm giddy.

"Football is made for the elements" my ass. This ain't Buffalo or Green Bay, hell they aren't even SF anymore. They're a Santa Clara team now, not only are they not built for rain but now the rain seems to be in the heads of the coaching, Brock, the defense, ST. They should've lost this game tonight. Build a roof Jed.

Yea, home field elements play no advantage for this squad. Unlike the frozen tundra of GB, the frost in places like KC and Buffalo….hell even the frigid cold at Baltimore.
We suck in the rain. We have always sucked in rain. The games at Cleveland this year and the 1st half of Seattle last years playoffs are proof enough. If it rains there's a good chance our team will self combust.

We are awful in the rain. Can't we have a retractable roof or something? It's ridiculous. Night and day difference with this team.

They literally can't without running into FAA regulations due to San Jose Mineta International Airport.

The stadium is directly in the flight path of one of the airport's runways, and that limits what the 49ers can do.
Stadium lights have actually caused issues for pilots.
