they've never won a game like that before, in that fashion, under those circumstances, with that pressure. s**t, maybe even in the Shanahan/49er era??? (playoffs, come from behind????)
it was HUGE. they needed that experience.
Shanahan has that monkey off his back (since he's been with us)
That's a good way to look at it. I could be like some super negative fans that I will not mention and say we have no chance, but our defense severely alarms me. The 4th quarter D was great, but quarters 1-3 were atrocious. We could not stop the run, pass, or generate a pass rush whatsoever.
What can we do moving forward to fix the D the next two games? We will most likely have Goff and then Lamar, Allen, or Mahomes. It does not get any easier and if I'm the opposing team I'm looking at this Niners squad as very vulnerable. Was it a product of rust, the rain, losing Deebo, and playing an extremely hot Packers team? Was this Packers team a true contender and we knocked off a SB caliber team? If that is the case then it's not all doom and gloom, but Wilks better find that pass rush oh I'd say RIGHT NOW!
they bent, but didn't break most of the time in the Red zone at least. hoping another week will give them a chance to show they've tightened up a bit.

Kyle Shanahan compared Samuel's injury to the one suffered at Cleveland earlier this season, when the WR missed the next two games. pic.twitter.com/sF6g7gaqMq
Looked more like a head injury than shoulder, so maybe they're trying to avoid concussion protocol (if that's even a thing) that I doubt is allowed

Shanahan said they also checked for a concussion and that Deebo cleared it.

The pass rush is really alarming. If we make it to the SB against BAL, we're done....again.

I am usually the level headed one but I got so pissed at the minimal rushing attempts.
I think more for CMC and getting Mason in would have made a difference.

We won in spite of every phase of this team playing below their average last night.
We were all pissed. Even people who usually argue were in agreement. Kyle was off. Purdy was off. O line was off. We didn't run it nearly enough.
defense was bend don't break and every big third down they went ice skating on the home field. lol yeah bro im still recovering from this damn game.

And one of those 3rd down conversions was a gift by the 49ers with the long penalty.
