Need to stop the run. That's my main concern. Bosa and Chase need to punish their WRs if they try that crack block shot on them again.

Although, Ambry Thomas playing like s**t again, is pretty high up also.

Wilks just said that the D line has been getting too wide and had to go vertical, he said they're working on correcting that this week.

I'm not sure what he's talking about, that was a great tackle attempt by Ryan assuming he was trying to tackle Kinlaw on the play.

Warner may be great in coverage but yeesh.

Thats good, because lately teams have started playing zone against us and making Purdy hesitate. He has gotten a little confused and thrown some balls right to defenders. If Detroit is more comfortable in man that will give Purdy more confidence to make his usual throws.

Thanks for the example, good to see that.

also fun fact - faster person in the nfl last weekend was Ward on that play to track him down. Lol ran like 22 miles per hour. I've been so impressed with ward and demo this year.

Chase Young has not been playing like a guy slated for free agency and Bosa has been playing like a guy who got paid. Just sayin'. It's not politically acceptable for a coach to call out his players in public, but this defensive line has been pretty mediocre down the home stretch when they were supposed to be the strength of the entire team. Young got taken out of plays by WRs a few times on Saturday. Big, quality tackles have been handling Bosa for quite some time now. Gregory hasn't done s**t. Armstead's return was supposed to stifle the other team's rushing attack, but to the contrary the Packers gashed us with the run. Hargrave seems to be MIA. These dudes need to step it up. Winning or losing depends on them.

Bosa is second in the NFL in pressures. He's been doing his job just fine. Young ain't the same dude that was at OSU.

The DL overall has been doing their job. No it's not a million sacks but they're consistent getting pressure, which leads to a league high INTs for the team.

I think he was injured going into last week but then sprained his knee and ankle against the Bucs. He played through it, super tough guy, but shouldn't be 100%.

Yeah, sacks are sexy and we all want them, but they aren't the defining sack of if they've been good or not. There is a lot more to playing DL than sacks. I just would like to see them set edges better in the run game.

last week, the packers were going nuts with their protection. Bosa was chipped and double teamed often. On top of that, They also have a really good pass blocking o line. It hinders their ability in the pass game though, so that still works in our favor.

The packers had to be thinking outside zone to the right the way they played that game winning rushing TD play. Its Kyle's bread and butter play and GB was expecting it. Kyle sold it to them and it left a gaping hole for CMC to run through. Great double team block by Brendel and feliciano to make sure the only man that could defeat that play didn't have a chance.

Kyle breaks down his thoughts on the drive ending the first half against the packers. I was in the minority that I thought it wasn't a problem. After hearing him, I still feel that way.

he managed the time to give us a chance to get points and no opportunity for the opposing teams.

that could of very easily been a. Situation where we either don't get points (like a missed FG) or we do but still give them 40 seconds on the clock with 3 timeouts.

Yeah, didn't have much of a problem with it either. I get what Kyle was trying to do. And for that reason I don't blame Purdy for checking it down to CMC on that play some thought he should've gone to Aiyuk on the deep crosser. It was just unfortunate that Moodys kick was blocked.

If anything, Purdy missed the check down on the 3rd and 1. He had Conley wide open for a short gain with room to run. Could have easily been a 40 or 42 yard field goal and who knows what happens. But I think Purdy got jumpy and just threw it away.
