I don't understand why they didn't do it either.

Robbie was 40+ and at that age, kickers are a bit of a gamble at that point, you can't just roster Robbie til 50. In terms of why did the break with Robbie happen in 2023, well he was off contract. And if I recall correct, he began the offseason saying he's done with SF.

Tired of hearing about Goff like it's some great story. The dude was the number 1 overall pick. This is exactly what was expected from him
His brother Jack is looking like a really good prospect.

Everyone looking forward to Chauncey Gardner vs Deebo, but it might be more like CG vs Juan Jennings.
And Kittle. Unless Chancey is looking for cheap shots like his thug ass would.

Bro idk if you heard but you guys were last week. We're good with packers related content. ✌️
I'll try to talk about the Lions lol. Lions almost lost to Chicago twice.

The loss to the Seahawks in the 2014 NFC Championship Game......................with that PRECEDENT, don't ever complain about losing to the Niners in the 2023 Divisional round.
One was a tough fought loss, the other was a monumental CHOKE.
And it's not one I was happy that happened......every Niner fan was pissed the Seahawks lucked into a Super Bowl they didn't belong to, and that Malcolm Butler interception was the ONLY JUSTICE that could right that wrong.
But that was an insane loss.......maybe more Seahawk super luck than anything, but I don't wanna hear about Niner luck in a game that was evenly played for 60 minutes.

Yeah he said he was done because SF told him they were done. Go grab another vet, instead of depending on a rookie kicker to help win a SB
This was from last week.

Awosika will start at left guard for Detroit. Can 49ers DT Javon Hargrave — who had one of the biggest pressures of the game against LG last week — give him similar trouble as Vita Vea did? https://t.co/9CraJDC3CV

That's not an excuse. You're basically saying that Niner brass was anticipating that Robbie game would decline, therefore decided to cut ties and draft a rookie. Makes no sense. Sure if Robbie's game was indeed on a steep decline and he was becoming a liability then I'm all for moving on from him. But that wasn't the case. The other excuse is his contract demand, which we know is also lane given our front office's ability to make room for players when needed.
Kyle / Lynch knew this was a Super Bowl or bust year. They decided to drop off from a proven winner and go with someone not as reliable. With Robbie we win the Cleveland game. With Robbie we go in leading 10-6 vs GB and maybe it's not so close.
Lions' TE Sam LaPorta is off the injury report despite his knee injury and is good to go for Sunday's NFC Championship Game vs. the 49ers.

However, the Lions did rule out guard Jonah Jackson (knee) and WR Khalif Raymond (knee) for Sunday's game. pic.twitter.com/vthaVitfEa

If Warner said that, my guess he is not talking about the LB core. We all know who is he asking to freakin' step up!
I love it. He pretty much said if the Niners D are doing their job they should win 3-0. He reiterated that there is no time to work on things, Now is the time to show it!!! He had me FIRED UP 🔥
