I would line up Armstead at big LDE on 1st down and start Kinlaw at DT next to Hargrave and Bosa at RDE. I'd bring in Chase Young mostly on passing downs. Then on passing downs kick AA back inside.

I have a weird gut feeling either Chase Young or/and Randy Gregory really help contribute in this game. We need at least one of them to step it up NOW!

Love the idea of AA at big end on 1st. That creativity might be what's needed vs this line. I have a feeling Sewell will be a brick wall, wouldn't mind seeing Bosa line up against Decker at times. All hands on deck, Young, Gregory and Kinlaw, especially I think. Kinlaw can help get some push up the middle and soften up Ragnow
We exposed the Eagles and sunk their battleship..wanting the Lions to sink next.......

Why is the AFC pregame show 2 hours and FOX pregame is only 30 minutes? I mean even a two hour pregame is still almost 2 hours too long lol, but good grief CBS studio show panel is so much worse than the FOX panel even though they both suck. It's like hey let's watch the 2-friggin-hour AFCCG pregame show, it's more irritating than fingernails down a chalkboard. I know I know, two hours still isn't enough for them to suck off Mahomes and Jackson.

Hey? Guess what? It was Stormin' Norman' last weekend. What the coaches want sometimes Mother Nature rejects, no matter how well Moody boots the ball. I wouldn't say Moody muffed anything. Show me a kicker who can control where kickoffs go when the wind is blowing rain into his face.

This is a non story about nothing.

But he did muff it, that's the point. Just kick the f**king ball to the back of the end zone, like everyone else does. That's your job, dude is the second highest picked kicker in a draft in over 17 yrs!

even if that FG didn't get blocked that f**ker was hooking.

we got a shaky kicker and a ST unit that stinks. Sometimes that's the difference in winning it all or not.

You get entirely too caught up in draft position sometimes.

Could it be because a longer pregame show on fox would be on at the same time as the chiefs ravens game? No of course not that would be crazy

Is he saying that moody "muffed" the kick off cause he didn't kick a touchback? Do we know the stats? Did the kicks that were supposed to be touchbacks happen in a certain direction? What was the weather like in those directions?
i know he was asked to kick those as touch backs but was there a reason it didn't happen or was it just a bad kick or was it both? I really don't know the answer.

the issue I have with the whole draft pick dilemma is that not all drafts are created equal, specifically 2023. This was widely considered a very weak draft overall, especially after the first round or two. pick 99 is technically a fourth round quality pick because of how many players are taken off the board at the time pick 99 comes around - 65-96 is where a traditional player is expected to go if they're a "third round talent", anything later than that is considered a 4th round quality or worse player. The team took a player they loved and coveted, that's all that matters. They've whiffed on 11/12 picks over the last 5 drafts (not including the Ambry draft yet).

It's year one, you have to wait a few years to see if it was a bad pick or not. Lol what if he has an awesome first three years and hits multiple big kicks in the playoffs/super bowl? Then it's worth it. If he ends up sucking, then it wasn't.

right now, we are booting the ball out of the endzone on kick offs (aka touchbacks) significantly more often than we did last year, it's like 25% more often than last year or so.

i agree that our special teams stinks - but it's more to do with our coverage units than anything, they stink. Our kickin has been solid this year (FGs and PATs from a statistics standpoint). Our issue is blocking and coverage more so than kicking.

Lmao I'm also sure that it partially has to do with the games being on different stations. CBS isnt going to spend a ton of time hyping a game that they aren't airing, they want fans as engaged and tuned in for the ravens/Chiefs game as much as possible.
