I don't want anything to do with that record unless we also have the most trophies.

Well you have to win the next game for a chance to tie the Steelers there. It works out lol.

We'll still be one behind Lord Brady though.

Brady isn't a franchise. If we can tie Pittsburgh and New England this season, we still have Brock on a rookie deal next season, so may be able to regain the lead.

Dan Campbell just said it doesn't look good for Guard Jonah Jackson and TE Brock Wright playing in next week's game.

We will knock out their center and f**k up la porta too. We will bring the pain

Meh, the way Niners played and they almost lost. I don't know how fans can be so confident for this game.

You're not your last game or last moment. It all ebbs and flows. We've been a great team this year.

If Deebo is hurt I'd just as well sit him. The team really misses him when he goes out mid game because so much of Kyle's game plan revolves around him, but if Kyle knows he'll be out he can design a different game. I don't think he'd be as needed vs Detroit as he would in the Super Bowl.

Absolutely not. He needs to play regardless of severity.

simply being on the field changes the defense.

you can get him 5-6 touches to keep the defense honest. He has to play.

Brock and the offense are going to rebound next week and get back to the customary 30+ point output. May need all of it.
DL needs to be awesome stopping the run. Goff isn't a threat to run so there will be no need for containment rushing of the passer. Get to '3rd and pass it' and pin those ears back.

And Ragnow gutted it out himself too.

Agreed, seems like no rain which is good for us

I felt that one of our games in the NFC playoffs we would win by multiple scores in a pretty decisive game. Guess its looking like it might be the Lions game.

True.

I also think it's good that GB gave us a battle. We never lead until there was over a minute left. Adversity helps.

We led a few times, 7-3, 7-6, 14-13. . .

Exactly, even if Deebo is limited there would be some value in giving him a play or two to keep the Lions honest, then using him as a decoy if we have to.
My take heading into the game:

This is a matchup nightmare for Detroit. On defense, Detroit is AWFUL against the pass. They allowed 7.8 yards/attempt on the season (2nd worst in the league). Their numbers vs the run are actually good but they just gave up 5.9 yards/attempt to TB who is anemic in the running game.

Detroit will have question marks on the offensive line. Starting guard Jonah Jackson is likely going to be out and Ragnow is banged up. Goff will be a statute back there in the pocket so there is no threat of extending plays outside of the pocket in the passing game.

I think the Packers were the better team down the stretch and were a worse matchup for us. I'm not a betting man but I think 49ers -7 is a joke. I think we blow the doors off Detroit and win by double digits easily.
