Chin up my man, future is bright for the newest chapter of the Packers 49ers rivalry.. I don't expect Love to get skunked like Rodgers, fully expect Love and Purdy to battle for the next 10 years at least.

Packers third in the division next year behind the great Lions team and Kirko Chainz.

window closed, lol

The series momentum has flipped before and it'll likely flip again when the Niners window fades a bit… but hopefully not for a couple 2-3 more seasons.

It was a hard fought roller coaster game that GB SHOULD have won, but for multiple wasted opportunities. You have a talented young team and a lot to look forward to.

They plan on making the QB who threw 2 costly INTs that ended their season the highest paid player at his position 😂😂😂😂 good luck

For me, it's not that our run defense sucks, it's that this Wide 9 scheme sucks against the run.

I honestly think we should forfeit if we have to play you guys again. We can't beat you home or away.
Man, the more I watch the AFC playoffs, the better (much better) than the NFC they seem.

The 3 QBs (Mahomes, Allen, Jackson) >>>>> any NFC QB. You can only defend the great QB play/run only so much.

I guess let's get to the SB first. Living on the hope of "any given Sunday"

It may the way it's being used this year, but it worked the last few. I remember Harbaugh's first year here we played Philly when they used the wide 9. We ran it down their throats extremely well and the next season they moved away from it.

If Deebo is hurt I'd just as well sit him. The team really misses him when he goes out mid game because so much of Kyle's game plan revolves around him, but if Kyle knows he'll be out he can design a different game. I don't think he'd be as needed vs Detroit as he would in the Super Bowl.

If Deebo is out, then I'd be more run oriented with both CMC and Elijah in the game plan and add in Mason. Involve Kittle, CMC, Aiyuk and Jauan more for sure in the passing game. From what I've seen on social media, Deebo should be fine by next weekend. We shall see.

Why use it then? If we moved away from it, we wouldn't need expensive DE's?

Gore tore that defense up, I remember. The LB's have to - basically - run blitz to stop the runs off the wide 9. It's GREAT against the pass, I love the scheme against passing offenses. It's just bad alignment against a north-south ground game like the 49ers had back then with Gore. I don't think we'll ever be top run defense with the wide 9. Having said that, the DLine and linebackers would be top notch against the run in any other scheme, like a basic 4-3 IMO.
