Amazing throw, even better catch.

Man o man, that's up there with the Tom Brady helmet catch for me. That's *INSANE* accuracy for a QB. Generational I tell you. Folks that say Purdy is just another good QB, don't watch stuff like that, in my opinion. That's Joe Montana/Steve Young level accuracy.

It was an absolute beautiful throw but I'm going to be a Debbie downer as it all amounted to nothing. It's hard to really put much stock into it when we punted 3 plays later.

I'm assuming you weren't around for the 1990 49ers vs Giants MNF game. It ended 7-3 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest ever.

I'm simply just saying that throw had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. One of the tweets earlier classified it as one of the best playoff throws ever but imo the throw has to mean something. It was a 10 out of 10 throw no doubt, but as far as impact on the game it had a very minimal impact

I hate making this a negative and being a Karen but it is my opinion.

So if we beat the Lions, we have to beat one of the two teams that beat us in the Super Bowl.

The point of the post was the throw itself. Everyone already knows the outcome afterwards.

And the refs. I'm full tin foil har here but no way does the NFL want Detroit or us to beat Taylor Swift or Lamar. I genuinely have little hope for a fair fight.

It did have an outcome on the game, though, that's my point. Every positive and negative play have an outcome, even if it only comes down to field position.

49er fans we admit that you guys totally have our number. Whatever we do we can't beat you guys.

Chin up my man, future is bright for the newest chapter of the Packers 49ers rivalry.. I don't expect Love to get skunked like Rodgers, fully expect Love and Purdy to battle for the next 10 years at least.

No guarantee gb makes it back next year, a lot of variables could go wrong, that's why you gotta make it count

Lamar regular season MVP and SB MVP would be a perfect ending or KC and the swifties hoisting the trophy on the field then Taylor breaks into a song......either ending is perfect for the NFL
Now Purdy has to beat Goff and he will be victorious against all these #1 overall QBs.

Disagree. League is doing everything they can to boost viewership of the draft, including the last day. What better ad than showing that even the last pick in the draft can be Super Bowl MVP?

I'll give up on the NFL if they pull Taylor singing a song at the end. She's going to be on tour in february, so who knows?
