we have the #3 rushing defense and that with all those missed games by AA. GB tried to do that and we played as horrible as we can on offense and still won.

The good news is Goff is a pocket guy. We usually play much better against them, but the defense has been jeckle and Hyde this year so I'm worried they get walked around on long drives again.

I think the 49ers did a good job on Aaron JOnes despite his 6 yards per carry average. Key to defending the Lion's run game is Arik is healthy. At least I didn't hear any injuries on the team other than Deebo. Green Bay could not run over our defense at will. They have to mix it up and pick their spots. There were some good 3rd down run stops that forced Green Bay to punt or turn it over on downs. The 49er weakness is the run defense - but that's because of scheme and I don't think 49er player personnel have anything to do with it.

Well weakness is 49ers run D and Thomas in the secondary

Hmmmm, there was a stat on Twitter showing us like in the 20's in rushing D.

We were supposed to steamroll the Packers to, nearly lost. I think it'll be close through 3 quarters and someone makes a mistake in the 2nd half.

We definitely want to get on top of them to get their run game taken off the table. I figure the Lions are going to try and stop the big plays and limit the intermediate throws as well. The check downs will be there all day long. That should open up the big plays Brock and Aiyuk like to hit.

Can't abandon the run even if DET has good run D. CMC will have his good runs in spots. Eventually DET run D will wear down if the offense doesn't get cute

This is why we will steam roll them. Packers were overlooked by their record and we played our worst game and still won. We will steam roll the Lions with everyone waking up after the 3 week Bye.
