What's your opinion on the team & coaching around Goff now compared to when he was on the Rams and played us? Better, same, or worse?

I think he is the same QB. You stop the run and get pressure with 4, he'll crumble. You can see a trend in that chart. The better our defense has gotten over the years the weaker his performances have been against us. Atleast when he is playing us at Levi's anyway.

Wonder how his stats are on grass vs turf?

clear difference

Passer rating of 82 vs 105 on turf

He has been much better on turf than grass this season.

Can we please a breakout game by the Dline for crying out loud? Are we going to be able to contain Gibbs?

Brock hasn't played on turf much this year but when he has played on grass, he's been exponentially better than turf.
Funny how the Seahawks beat them in Detroit this year, and despite it going to OT, they never trailed.

I agree with this part of your statement but I worry that it will be hard to do. This team hasn't been good at stopping the run in games where they aren't way ahead. Detroit has a good 1-2 punch in the backfield. I'm also not confident that the 49ers front 4 can get a lot of pressure on Goff. They have one of the best O lines in the league.

What's the story with DET's passing defense? I read they generate pressure on the QB but yet they aren't known as a good passing defense. Is it as simple as block up Hutchinson then pick apart their secondary?

They give up a lot of yards per attempt, but is it because they are leading in the game so they play soft zones and give up a bunch of underneath yards?
