at the very least I'd think he'd do better at avoiding PI penalties. Maybe we get good Ambry, like when Ward was out in November. on Sat we got bad Ambry

Uhh the Lions had 287 yards passing. A good Bucs defense? Purdy was 21-25 for 333 yards and 3 td's vs. them this year.
Lions also played against an even more banged-up Bucs secondary towards the end of the game….
but they had less need to pass due to being way ahead 3rd qtr onwards, hence ran the ball more to milk the clock.

May not be a bad idea. I don't know what Ryan has left in the tank but I know he's probably more savvy than Thomas. Grabbing receivers in the open field never works.
Yeah I'd rather that and have brown on the field for run defense

Lions are a respectable and scrappy team but we should hands down win this game. Not scared

This is a tough year for 49ers fans. All the excitement of potentially beating the Lions (assuming it doesn't rain!), is dampened by the fact that the NFC team is in for a thrashing in the SB by the AFC team.
Miracles happen, yeah, but then, they don't too.

Base: Ryan @ safety
Nickel: Ryan @ slot; Brown @ safety
Running/short yardage: Brown or Oliver

KC is beatable if they're rendered one-dimensional by building a lead on them & forcing them to pass…their receivers are subpar—this is the year to wreak vengeance on them, hence root for them to beat the Ravens (luckily AFCCG is the earlier game Sunday).

I don't know why people keep saying this. The team that plays better on that day wins. The Ravens lost to the Colts, almost the rams at home. Chiefs lost to Denver and LV. any given Sunday. The 49ers have a good roster and would probably be favored in the SB.

Yeah stop this chicken little s**t. We're one of the best teams of the past decade. We didn't have a pretty win, but we got a win and we're an amazing team top to bottom.
