Ultra conservative Kyle versus Ultra aggressive Dan. gonna be interesting

Marty Ball vs Riverboat Ron style matchup
wish Kyle would get more aggressive, he literally has one of the top Os of all time supposedly, that means you want them on the field and you trust them to pick up 3rd downs and 4th downs.

I was told he was conservative cuz of Jimmy lol, remember that? what happened folks?

To me other than the BS at the end of the half he almost wasn't conservative enough. He had brock throwing the ball way too much, kind of abandoned the run too much
NFL script writers are at it again. The first game of the season is also the last game of the season. Chiefs v Lions. hahaha

It'll be up to the offense to put points on the board with tuddies and not fieldgoals.
Backup lineman? Well, then. I guess the Detriot o-line will have their best game of the season.

It's his philosophy. They asked him after the game and he seemed be more excited that GB didn't score versus the Niners scoring. He was playing for 3. He just doesn't have that let's put more points mentality. He'd rather just drain the clock.

The way the 9ers D was playing all first half I don't blame him.

Be nice if the D could force a punt from time to time.

I don't even know why some posters here even bother to watch. In the GDT it's awful...usually the same 3 posters or so..just doom and gloom 5 minutes into the game. Then in these threads...again the same people doom and gloom.

I get not being 100% confident all the time, but if you are so sure the 49ers are going to lose ...why even watch? It's like you want them to lose just so you can come back and say you were right.

It's exhausting.

No one wants them to lose. There are question marks on the team related to the inability to rush the passer, giving up easy yards on the ground and air, penalties in the secondary. These are red flags going into a game against one of the league's best offenses. We barely beat and should not have beaten the Packers the way the game was being played. But now that we squeaked by, it's not like everything is back to normal. Of course there is concern.

This isn't the 80s and early 90s. Whoever gets to the Superbowl on both the NFC and AFC side will be really good and have a close to a 50/50 shot of winning it.

we lost by 14 to BAL and were neg 5 on the TO differential. Imagine that being even on TOs.

That was a weird game. No way Brock throws 4 interceptions in a game again this year.

FYI, Jared Goff has only 9" hands.

This and Goff has similar arm strength to Brock. If weather is an issue, it will be so for both qbs
Lions will be without starting OG Jonah Jackson. So according to NC, that's a sure victory

Goff has a stronger arm.

Raiders have turf

Stadium has both but NFL games there are on grass.

Did not know that, thanks. 👍

And Ragnow is only at 80% according to campbell. (unless that was just a figure of speech)

Agree, I think it will be Kyles offense as the difference maker. If Deebo is relatively healthy (so far no fracture) Kyle should have a much more consistent offense this weekend.

49ers defense did a decent job stopping the Green Bay running game. Hopefully the equipment managers do a better job on the cleats and footwork.

It should be an easy win, relatively speaking - if Kyle's offense is at or near 💯% health.
