Undefeated Patriots lost the SB
9-7 Giants beat the Patriots in the SB
10-6 Ravens knocked off the Manning Broncos, Patriots and 49ers in the same playoffs
Eagles with a backup QB made it all the way to the SB and beat the Patriots
You play the games for a reason.
Ok, all the above are anomalies. I think a very high probability of winning the SB lies with the AFC team. Is there a chance (however small) for any team to win any game, sure. Regardless of what we feel, the DLine needs to STEP UP! It's pitiful right now, collecting massive checks.
This isn't the 80s and early 90s. Whoever gets to the Superbowl on both the NFC and AFC side will be really good and have a close to a 50/50 shot of winning it.

why? we have a grass field and so does the raiders?
Raiders have turf
Not what I'm reading. They have a grass field like the cards

KC is beatable if they're rendered one-dimensional by building a lead on them & forcing them to pass…their receivers are subpar—this is the year to wreak vengeance on them, hence root for them to beat the Ravens (luckily AFCCG is the earlier game Sunday).

No one wants them to lose. There are question marks on the team related to the inability to rush the passer, giving up easy yards on the ground and air, penalties in the secondary. These are red flags going into a game against one of the league's best offenses. We barely beat and should not have beaten the Packers the way the game was being played. But now that we squeaked by, it's not like everything is back to normal. Of course there is concern.

*had one of the best. Their center is super banged up and their RG (who is a stud) is out. THey're also going to be down their best run blocking TE. I think we will be fine.
It'll be up to the offense to put points on the board with tuddies and not fieldgoals.
Agree, I think it will be Kyles offense as the difference maker. If Deebo is relatively healthy (so far no fracture) Kyle should have a much more consistent offense this weekend.
49ers defense did a decent job stopping the Green Bay running game. Hopefully the equipment managers do a better job on the cleats and footwork.
It should be an easy win, relatively speaking - if Kyle's offense is at or near 💯% health.

Lions will be without starting OG Jonah Jackson. So according to NC, that's a sure victory
And Ragnow is only at 80% according to campbell. (unless that was just a figure of speech)

Yes, you're right. 👍 Sorry, I was confused because I just saw a video of how bad the Raiders turf field is, I didn't realize it was both.
So to your original point, that's good for Brock.

Kyle's offense covers up for a lot of defensive weaknesses. Example - run defense. Statistically 49ers are top 3 (or something like that) against the run. I feel they are more like towards middle of the pack. One reason is teams stop running against the 49er defense once they are behind. Thats a concern going into the Lions game as they do have a top flight run game.
To win - Kyle has to get ahead of them by a one or two scores to get them to start passing and give the 49er defense opportunity to create some turnovers, like in the Green Bay game.

Aaron Jones had 18 carries and 108 yards rushing. If it is because it is Aaron Jones and it was raining, I can agree somewhat. But in general I wouldn't agree giving up over 100 yards on the ground is good.

I didn't realize it was a combination of both. I googled it and it said it was "Bermuda grass field", how does it work when it's a combo? Anyone know?
