Just have Ward follow St. Brown all game and we should be fine.

I don't agree with this. Ward does better with more straight line physical WRs, St Brown will put him in a blender imo.

So you would rather have St. Brown lined up against Thomas? Tell me you're joking, right?

I'm not joking, he plays a lot out of the slot like Lamb tends to. I'd have DeMo bite his knee caps all game.

St Brown is not going to be shadowed. Nearly half of his snaps come from the slot. We are not going to move Ward around and change up the whole defense. He'll stay on his side, Thomas on his. Lenoir will match up with St Brown more than anyone and we will play alot of zone and ask Warner and Greenlaw to play under or down on routes. Will take the safeties involvement as well. I don't think we have any expectation to shut St Brown down. If he gets 7 catches for 85 yards, then so be it. Hopefully we can keep him out of the end zone, and limit big plays. The Lions are 3rd in the league in percent of pass attempt that gain more than 20 yards. We need to make sure Thomas doesn't get burned or flagged on a deep route by Jameson. Need to make sure we dont bite so hard on underneath slants by St Brown and Laporta that Reynolds gets open on a deep cross. Make sure a Gibbs screen doesnt take off. You have to make Goff earn it, and not get a 50 yard play.

For as bad as the pass defense seemed against the Packers, Love made one really nice throw to Doubs along the sideline. The rest of the explosive plays were from defenders slipping. We did a decent job of not giving them anything big and keep it in front. Hopefully this time we can get a lead. Once the threat of the rush is gone, our linebackers are free to make plays.

Yup Lenoir is his guy. And I'd also bench Logan Ryan and put Brown back there.

Like I said in a more recent post. I am fine with Brown vs Lenoir. My concern was Thomas. Ward don't play in the slot anyway.

I had a dream we didn't do so well in the NFCCG and we were all blaming Colton McKivitz

Hutchinson looks really explosive. Thats going to be a huge concern.
Niners and Ravens have been the 2 best teams all season long. Nothing has changed and that's the 2 teams that will meet in the Super Bowl

We always worry about McKivitz, yet he's gone up against TJ Watt, Micah Parsons, Haason Reddick, Shaq Barrett and Rashan Gary and Purdy did just fine with that protection.

During the regular season the Lions defense faced only 2 top 10 rushing offenses. BAL and CHI. In those 3 games, they gave up 471 rushing yards on 103 attempts, 5 TD's and 8 rushes of 10+ yards.

That's the kind of data I'm talking about 😍. Couple that with their most recent playoff games and MUHAHAHA.

i think we smoke their ass. I think the packers had an added element of urgency in the divisional game cause they knew how much it would mean to their coach to beat kyle in the playoffs. Just my opinion but that's how it seemed to me

Ward shadowed DK Metcalf who is way more physical

I think Chiefs beat Baltimore and Niners fans will have to listen to Swifties sending us all death threats for 2 weeks

Eh. I got Atlanta at number 7 and Detroit stuffed the run there. Only 44 rushing yards. Rams were 12th averaging 117 yards a game on the year and they just limited them to 68 yards.

Yup, hope 49ers Ohio State boys show the Michigan boy how it's done.

That would be great but the Lions have a terrific O line. They may have the best right tackle in the league in Sewell. No weak spots to attack. If Wilks is ever going to use some well disguised blitzes, this would be a good time to do it. They can't allow Goff to stand in the pocket and pick them apart. He has really poor mobility so if they get any pressure he's not going to escape and make some crazy play.

It should be an epic game. I think it'll either be a close game where the chiefs pull it out or it'll be a blowout and Lamar looks like booty. I don't see the ravens winning but who knows.

the difficult part is that the chiefs can throw four picks and follow it up with six touchdowns. Lol
