Salutations,

There is no doubt that you are consuming, whether reading or watching pundits, lay into your San Francisco 49ers by way of Santa Clara. Purdy ain't good enough. He isn't as talented as the other quarterbacks remaining. While objectively this may be true, I don't give a f**k. When we needed him, in sub optimal conditions, he got it done. Please stop arguing with one another and say it with me. He got it done. While some pundits hate on him. There is a reason that many hall of fame quarterbacks, and soon to be hall of fame quarterbacks, see something in him. Here I think of Young, Brady, Rogers, and Warner. As a fan base, whether we all love him or not--and let's be honest this ongoing feud with some fans about who is QB1 is as much a heritage of the 49ers fan base as is our expectation to win at least two world championships in one season; it is insanity--he is going to be the one that aides in determining whether we win or lose. Get behind him.

No, I do not believe the defense is as good when it comes to pass rushing as yesteryears teams. But, we do seem more balanced. We still have great players within it. Get behind them.

Kyle is brilliant and befuddling. We admit that. We need to admit that. But god dawg, guys. We are far superior than we were in the Harbaugh era. We just are. Offensive is far more creative and we are starting to sustain the regular season success envisioned when Kyle first came here. Yeah, we are 1-30 or some such s**t after trailing by 7 going into the fourth quarter, but that 1 matters a whole hell of a lot. Post-season record for the niners as of late is not too bad, either. We just got to finish the job. Get behind the coach.

No, we are not the most compelling story--although, I think we are still a story when we think of past disappointments and heart breaking injuries that derailed us--in the NFL. Detroit is. I am happy for them. But, f**k them. They still have to come here and still have to win. And at our best, I believe we are better and will beat them. Get behind the team.

It has almost been 30 years since we won our fifth title. Part of the reason that I came to the Webzone in 2004 was because it had almost been ten years since we had returned back to the Super Bowl. And I was so desperate to find a place to go to discuss what the hell was wrong with the Niners. I am nearing twenty years at this place, which blows my mind. I don't say any of this to toot my own horn. I say it because, like you, I am tired of waiting. We must unite to finish the job as a fan base, team, and organization. I need, and want, everything you got. Pour all of that positive energy into the belief that we can and will finally complete the deal.

May the fates bless us all. After all, they love and protect fools, little children, ships named Enterprise, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Best,

Fro

Some folks feel powerless in their own lives and so they create this false reality that allows them to bury athletes and coaches that are far more accomplished than they are.

its fair to criticize players and coaching decisions.
Its not based in reality to call players trash or pretend you are better coach/gm than the actual ones doing it.

It's not enough to just unite, we need to form blazing sword.
✊🏿 Git in the pile!!!
I can't believe that I have been wishing and hoping since 96! I got to see the 94' offense first hand and it was something to behold! I'm more worried about the defense lately. Anyway, hope the team makes it to the Superbowl!

Far more accomplished.....not necessarily.

They get put on a pedistal for no reason. They play sports which really have no real value in life other than entertainment, to satisfy our tribal needs and to remove us from our day to day grind for 3 hrs every Sunday. In the end, there are alot more people in society that contribute and accomplish more important things than catching a football.

People who makes posts like this are usually slobs who never played sports or were bad and quit. Most don't understand the time, effort, dedication, energy and sacrifices it takes to make it to professional sports. I guarantee you these guys have more discipline and work ethic than 99.9% of people in society.

They are responsible for a big market which provides jobs to countless regular joes and lets us fans escape from all the Debbie downers of the world who just put others who are way more successful down..

Oh I understand the time and effort very well. To say they are more dedicated and disciplined is very disrespectful to many other professionals in society. You just prove my point.
Let's go man!!! That was 🔥
