Been a fan since 1988 thank you very much. I just have higher expectations growing up in the 80s / 90s. I think the football gods set up an easy road for us in the playoffs, not having to face teams that could give us trouble. Yet we struggled against the number 7 seed that took a back door into the playoffs, and a team that hasn't sniffed a conference championship game since 1991. And now we face a guy that is 14-3 in the playoffs and has appeared in 4 of the past 5 Super Bowl. I'm looking at the big picture. I don't believe in luck. This team should be dominant given the talent on this roster. Instead we're winning off of the opponent's implosion. Don't want a 5-3 SB record which at this point appears inevitable…

This logic makes no sense.

That 7 seed knocked out the #2 seed. And completely destroyed them.

that Lions team knocked out the all mighty rams you were terrified over and a Bucs team that knocked out last years NFC champions.

The Lions and Packers are very good teams. They both beat the Chiefs this year too who you are now terrified of.

Exactly makes no sense. The pack got in late because of early season struggles and got it together at the end and blew out the #2 seed, came in hot. The lions not being there since 1991 is completely irrelevant, this is now! And the big picture is in 2019 we didn't have CMC, Trent, Purdy. We are better than 2019, the chiefs are not.

Our offense is better than it was in 2019, but our defense is worse. The Chiefs offense is worse than it was in 2019, but their defense is better.

How old are you bud ? You remember the 1957 game, you must be in your 70s ?
We won it, but need lady luck on your side. That 50 yard off the face mask of the DB is a gift.
I thought it at the moment, and just went back to watch it again - that bomb to Aiyuk WAS a TD! There is contact with the defender, but it comes before he secures the catch. And his knee is off the ground just before the second defender touches him. I noticed when they showed the reply they didn't show the endzone view, which would have shown it best. But also concerning, it was the ref that was running right beside Aiyuk that threw the flag - for them just to say there was no penalty. He was 6 feet from the players, looking RIGHT at them - and threw the flag. Nobody could have had a better vantage point then him. I don't see a penalty, so I have no idea what he was doing. But also, if he saw something - who overturned it?
Not sure if it was mentioned but Strahan was a disaster at the NFC presentation.

I think if Aiyuk doesn't catch that ball, the penalty sticks as DPI. The defender impeded his route to catch the ball. But since he caught it, they just negated the penalty.

Gave the trophy to Montana to give to Jed York and Montana didn't want to give it to him. Lmao

That's how the Seahawks won games for years, the most ridiculously lucky bounces of the ball all seemed to go their way. If the 49ers have now been able to start experience that due to Purdy's golden horseshoe, I'm down.

Joe wrote that you need both to win, you need to play great and you need luck.

Montana seemed like he didn't hear or know what to do. Senior moment 😬

You can say the same about the Chiefs. Yesterday the Chiefs didn't win it, more like the Ravens lost it. So many miscues on the Ravens side.

He ignored Joe Montana then he asked Kyle what it was like going in HT down 17-0.....then yelled screamed not saying anything useful.
