Chiefs' defense since Week 10:
— Akash Anavarathan (@akashanav) January 31, 2024
EPA/play: #19
Success Rate: #9
EPA/pass: #13
EPA/rush: #30 (!!)
Explosive Rush Rate: #20 (!!)
Chiefs' rush defense to the edges has been especially bad, that's the area where they've been taken advantage of.

Mahomes is Mahomes, but I don't know if the Chiefs have the ability to play in a shootout.
Efficiency Rankings of #49ers' playoff opponents (since Week 10):
— Akash Anavarathan (@akashanav) January 31, 2024
Offense:
Packers: #2
Lions: #5
Chiefs: #12
Defense:
Packers: #25
Lions: #27
Chiefs: #12
Mahomes is the great equalizer, but this might be the worst offense SF has faced all postseason, but the best defense.
Bracket Kelce, keep eyes on Rice, and force Watson/Scantling to beat you. If they do, they do. But force those lesser players to be the ones that win it for KC.

Yeah, well, there's luck in every game. Get used to it. Ambry Thomas had an easy INT, a ball in his hands that bounced back into the WRs (bad luck). So I see no point in whining about what could have been. This is the playoffs and every game is likely going to be a tough win.
What makes you think I"m whining? I'm glad we got lucky, but we did get lucky.
Yeah but it wasn't like it was all f**king game long either. We were lucky because Josh Reynolds whiffed on a completely catchable pass on the 4th & 2 but they got lucky cause some DL jumped up hit Brock's hand with his bigger hand just as he threw the ball which caused INT.

In the biggest game of the season, Purdy rushed for 48 yards and averaged nearly 10 yards per carry
Gibbs had 45 yards and was under 4 yards per carry#49ers | #FTTB pic.twitter.com/JCe7oKNtXb
I think the Detroit coordinator got too cute and should of pulled a shanahan in 2019 NFCC - run the ball until it doesn't work anymore. It's the safest bet, drains the clock, weakens the defense over time, and we couldn't stop it.
idk why they hell they tried to run it with brown either, that was strange. I'm grateful but once again, too cute.
Maybe seeing other teams do this might lend credence to the idea that it's a lot harder than one thinks to just do things so SIMPLY.
The Ravens only rushed the ball 6 times against KC (that wasn't Lamar rushing)......their entire season was mid double digits.

…it's like automatic every generation a Cowboy retires and had a NFL media job waiting for them, to continue the Niner-hate narrative.
That might make sense if every single one of those last six on the list didn't praise the niners every opportunity they get. All of the online garbage that's anti-niners is just butthurt fans whose team, and/or coaches failed them and instead of being pissed off at them, are directing their frustration at the team that took advantage of their team's shortcomings. It's mostly sour grapes.
