And not a better chance to prove it than against 1 of the best quarterbacks of all time.

I would like him on Rice all game. Move Ward like a chess piece with him on Kelce at times.

The key to the #49ers winning the Super Bowl will come down to halftime adjustments & figuring out what Reid/Spagnuolo draw up. pic.twitter.com/ZUU46g4Wz7

Javon Hargrave was the big free agent signing in the offseason. He was great during the first half of the season but has tailed off as the season has worn on. When the 49ers signed him, we knew the run defense might suffer a little bit, but his pass-rush ability would more than make up for it. But recently, he hasn't even been that effective in getting after the quarterback. So I agree that Hargrave hasn't lived up to his billing in recent weeks. I don't know that I'd say he's a non-factor, but he needs to step up. He's one player who could have a monstrous impact on the Super Bowl.
I think if Jaiyer plays well, he might be a difference-maker in the Superbowl. He's playing in place of Hufanga and I think he'd be great as a blitzer (run or pass) and if done right can cause some negative yardage for KC. If he blitzes well, he definitely he can affect both KC's run and Pass plays. I.e. if you are going to blitz Purdy, we'll lets blitz Patrick. Not every down, of course, but on downs that they don't expect it.

Detroit lost their starting LG and Frank Ragnow slid over on a majority of plays to help. KC has a similar quality Center with Creed Humphrey. I expect him to slide over to help Nick Allegretti. That will leave AA to go against Trey Smith. AA will have to win there by himself.
Our Edge guys should create some issues with KC's OTs on run plays where they are BAD. Much better on PP.
Bosa has a chance to really have a special game - we will need him to come through. With thuney being out, chiefs were pressured a lot more than usual. Hopefully our defense has one of its better performances and can hold KC to 24 or less.
i feel like this will be a 28-24 kind of game with us putting a ring on it 😈
Last SB vs KC, KC had two good tackles in Mitchell Schwartz and Eric Fisher. This time, it's Jawaan Taylor and Donovan Smith. Put Bosa over Taylor on passing downs and KC will be forced to give Taylor some help.

Taylor is a good, but not great, pass-protector who has been awful in run-blocking, which has never been a strength of his. According to Pro Football Focus ($), he ranks 82nd out of 90 qualified tackles in overall grade (49.1) and is tied for 38th in pass-blocking efficiency (96.5%). Both of those numbers are slight downgrades from where he was in 2022 with the Jaguars (59.5 and 98.2%).

Someone posted a gif of it yesterday. Just them having fun and punking a hapless Raiders team, lol.
Nice tackling. Thankfully we don't have that problem lately 👀
