That's not how football works. Match ups, human error, refs, and the direction the ball bounces plays no insignificant part.
I'm not someone that bets against players like Mahommes/Brady - they just have a knack for doing the unexpected. I don't have faith that this defense will do it's part, so I think the offense will have to ball out, which I have faith in that.
essentially I see this being a higher scoring game than most anticipate. Chiefs will get theirs. It'll be important that our guys score too - which won't be easy on this chiefs defense but not impossible either. Need to really not lose sight of the run game.
I think playing the Ravens in the regular season is going to help Purdy and the 49ers. I think the Ravens and the Chiefs defense do similar things in the zone blitz area. Similar weaknesses too against the run game.
Our defense has to hold KC to field goals instead of touchdowns in the red zone. Slow them down and if we can get two or more scores ahead, then we just run on them at that point - and ball hog the game to the end. We can't let KC have the ball at the end of the game, we all know what Patrick can do.
