Couldn't pull anything out of his butt vs TB in the SB. SF is the opposite of inexperienced.

they've put up 30+ pts 3 times this yr. Mahomes is Mahomes BUT they're here because of that defense imo.

I think SF matches up well vs KC. I wanted them over the Ravens

I definitely wanted them over the Ravens, just so Brock didn't have that PTSD potential.

TB had an elite pass rush. They were blowing up the KC OL all game in that SB. We can hope the pass rush shows up like that, but we haven't seen that in weeks.

I also prefer to play KC in the SB. I think our offense matches up well against their D and should be able to control the TOP.

No they didn't. KC had a bunch of scrubs on the OL for that game.

their OL isn't close to what it was when we played them in the SB. Their OTs are avg at best and they lost their all-pro LG to a pec injury.

It will come down to stopping Kelce and Mahomes playing backyard football.

I wanted to play BAL. I didn't want, "the NFL wants the Swifties to win because it's good for business" paranoia to be swirling around in my head.

I'm in the NY confidence camp.

I also understand that even if we do control TOP and play a fit, structured game, the thinking (fear) is that Mahomes will swallow our defense whole in the 4th quarter and steal one from us.

It's a bias that's hard to fight.
But I'm fighting it.
It's the Niners chip to take this year.
Is it Sunday yet?

KC plays a lot of man coverage and I think that benefits our offense - their corners are good but I think we have too many weapons to cover them all every time.

He's not that much of a genius. He abandons the run way too soon lately and let's not forget the last SB against KC where he blew a huge lead by abandoning the run and trying to win with the worst QB to ever play in a SB.
IF the 49ers lose this game, it will be because the defensive line failed the rest of the team. I still have PTSD from the Niners defense falling off a cliff in 2012

What we doing as far as a running game goes, we match up extremely well. Also they're better on the outside vs between the numbers in coverage.

Brock is gonna get blitzed all game. Hopefully the moment isn't too big for him and he can do what he does vs the blitz.

Not very confident, just based on the way we looked for 5 of the 8 quarters we played in our 2 playoff games. KC isn't going to let us come back if we start crappy.

My biggest concern is Wilks. I have no confidence in his game plan. I feel like he constantly comes up with crap strategies that Warner basically has to adjust from to right the ship.

I'm going to spam this gif to combat any doubt. 49ers are a good team, don't underestimate them.

Please do, this is obviously the right answer.

Honeybadger going for the L take, of the day

And Brock has got to make them pay with those scrambles. Lamar for whatever reason didn't.
