Can you name any other coaches who have taken their team to 4 conference championship games and 2 Super Bowls in the last 5 years?

Yeah don't take advantage of schemes that are begging you to throw the ball and doing everything to stop the run.

run the ball against 8 man boxes for sure works. Ya'll be screaming at Kyle if he did that all the same.

So the Green Bay Packers have a offensive line rated #6 in the league, The Lions line is #2 and now we are facing The Chiefs with the #4 rated offensive line. Purdy on the other hand has done everything this year behind a offensive line rated #17. Let that sink in, he has put up amazing stats with a line that really only has one true stud, Trent Williams. Just imagine for a moment what this team would look like with a top 10 rated offensive line. Every time I hear that Purdy is not him, or he is a game manager, I just want to bristle. All the talking heads want to tell you that BP has so many fantastic offensive players around him, but not one of them ever points out the difficulties he has worked around.

Whatever the source of this rating is…it's dogs**t. Jawaan Taylor is f'ing bad. One of the worst tackles in the NFL. Other tackle is mediocre. Plus…again…their best interior guy is hurt.

Good point, however, he's been running against 8 man fronts and being successful at it this year!

But yes you do have a point, if the other team is putting 8 men in a box and you have Brock with the best accuracy in the deep ball this year, I'm with you, I'm throwing it to Aiyuk DEEP!
Does anyone know if there will be a send off to the team outside their practice facilities on Sunday? There was one the last time when they took off to Miami

Oh wow, my history is a bit off. When did Kyle have Rex Grossman, or Trent Dilfer, or Brad Johnson on the Super Bowl roster?

Is my history that off, or is your take just laughably trash?

And Brock has got to make them pay with those scrambles. Lamar for whatever reason didn't.

It takes a bit of processing power to figure out in an instant that they switched from Man to Zone and your best option is to run. The running option would be Brock's 6th read - in essence - because that's the last thing usually that Kyle would want if he's calling a pass play. Essentially Brock has to see all 5 receivers being manned and covered -- and in a flash -- decides to run, all within 2.5 seconds. Colin did that at Green Bay. He would do that one read and run play. But Brock's processor is elite and equivalent to a multi-core CPU, Lamar's processor is probably stuck at one core.

Well then, Shanahan is right there with him.

No. Torture is the theme for us 49er fans this postseason. Be sure to stretch out your glutes pregame, it's going to be a butt clencher.

Agree, I"m going to have to load up on Pepto-Bismol for the weekend.

Will this be the last game for Andy? Will he announce to his team this is it, prior to kickoff?

I agree. I wonder if they'll play any spy? I doubt it, which would be nice. I hope Brock scrambles more than usual in this game - we saw what Josh allen did to them with his feet.

since they play man so much, their eyes won't be looking at the qb. There will be HUGE gains to be had. Even some delayed handoffs might be good to do against man coverage.

He might tell that to Bill Vinovich before the game.

Andy Reid took Philly to 5 straight NFCC and 1 superboel consecutively. Now he's taken the chiefs to 6 straight AFCC and 4 Super Bowls in a stretch.

belichick went to 8 straight AFCC with 4 super bowl appearances in one stretch.

Marv levy took the bills to 5 AFCC games In 6 years with four super bowl appearances.

it's happened quite a bit in history, but the good news is that they were all great coaches. I love Kyle.
