🏆 SUPER BOWL LVIII PREGAME THREAD - SF 49ERS vs KC CHIEFS 🏆

If the 49ers don't win it all this year I guarantee this team will never win . Like how many more talented start level players do we need to win ? Like do we need all 22 players to be all pros and pro bowlers ? This is the year to win

Maybe you should sit a few rounds out, honestly. Take a break. Walk in nature. You sound like you need it.

They have vulnerabilities of course but not as many as the 49ers have and the Chiefs have Mahomes to make up for a lot of that.

On paper and roster IMO we should be better. But they way we are playing at the end of the year and playoffs looks very vulnerable. We get in deep holes and try to come back. Earlier in the year we were blowing teams out. The 49ers hardly seem like they are peaking. In fact you can argue they are not playing their best football. Mahomes and the Chiefs struggled during the year. But you can never count out a Mahomes team in the Super Bowl. Who cares about the year? Mahomes in the Super Bowl is different.

They are playing better teams right now. The playoffs are different than the regular season. That being said they made the adjustments and came through. Part of being a champion.

Some of it's that. But they don't seem like they are playing great. Their defense gets gashed and their offense starts slow. Both need to be fixed against the Chiefs. Because that won't work against them.
I am sitting in nature. In my back yard listening to the birds and smelling the fresh air and talking about my 49ers. What a great place to be.
The Chiefs have Taylor Swift, and Mr. Pfizer and basically the refs on their side it's pretty much America's team and Taylor Swift already made the NFL like over 300 million this year who do you think is gonna win?

Brock is who he is cus of his relationship with Jesus. This is a testament to what a true child of God can look like. Strong, confident, a genuine good person, not rattled, a leader. These are all archetypes described in the Bible. You are walking the narrow path. I can see the Holy Spirit is guiding you and you listen very well

Brock has always loved football, the way his family speaks about him, he's been dreaming of playing in the NFL since he was 5 years old. He never had a backup plan in high school, in college, he always knew he was gonna play football. So he pours his heart and soul into football everyday, to him it's not about the money or the fame, he just loves playing the game. I think part of the calm is his faith in god, but another part of his calm is the fact that being put in a challenging situation excites him. I saw it when he played against the Raiders, when he played against the Cowboys, when he played against the Browns, when he played against the Packers, and when he played this game against the Lions. When time is running out and he can lead a game winning drive, he doesn't hesitate, he doesn't doubt himself, he becomes laser focused and goes all in. Nothing surrounding him affects him, he is completely absorbed in the game.

ive been saying jed LOVES kyle all along, it would take a drastic turn of events for him to sour on kyle

Firing Kyle Shanahan not only is one of the most idiotic thoughts, it's a move that's like shooting yourself in the foot.

NEXT QUESTION!!!
If Shanahan got fired you'd have every team with an open spot, and some would create an open spot, interviewing him.
The clue to a niner win is one and big is stopping the run. Number 2 is to stop Mahomes short passing game. Kansas City key to the Victory over the ravens were their 6 to 9 minutes drive. That has to stop!! Key to a niner victory is not chunk plays but a long-time consuming drive that keeps Mahomes on the side line. Can the niners do both. God I sure hope so.

A million years from now noone will give a s**t who won the SB QB on 2/11/24 and a million years is just a blink of an eye compared to eternity.
A millions years....yes but you could say that about anything!

I live in the NOW

I predict the Niners win IF Deebo wins the SB MVP. Kyle has been saving Deebo for this exact moment. Unleash the Super Gremlin!!!!

Man as a Chiefs fan I disagree. Both teams have vulnerabilities but I don't see the Niners being any greater than the Chiefs.

Belichick was great because he always took away the opponents best player. Kelce can be had if you follow the blueprint of muddying it up and making him work to get off the line and knock him off his route. CMC is much tougher. Even if we by some miracle we hold him to 50 yards rushing he could still kill us in the passing game. Then we are left with the other receivers which are all superior to what we have. I believe the defense will focus on confusing Purdy and harassing him with pressure. The difference between Jones and many other D linemen is he will follow your weak link and abuse him. We will keep Williams occupied with our worst. I seriously doubt Jones will ever line up across from him. Often times he lines up next to Karlaftis and eats the double team and allows Karlaftis to pressure. You guys seemed to struggle against the Ravens and Browns, in a lot of ways our defense is better. If we win it will be because of our defense not in a shootout.
