Score for score? Why is KC some high flying juggernaut offense? They're 15th in the league in pts per game (SF 2nd).
this yr it's been their D that's got them there. 2nd in points allowed (SF is 3rd).
It's not that they are a high flying offense. Something is wrong with our defense. GB and DET put up some points on us. Mahomes is light years ahead of the QBs they have. They don't have a high flying offense. I just don't trust Wilks, and I think KC will score points
I get your point. What's more likely - the erratic Niners defense gives up 30+ to Mahommes and Reid or our slow starting playoff offense puts up more than 24 on a defense that hasn't given that up all year? Scary thoughts lol
I think we can surely beat them, but not with the way they've played the last two playoff games. The team needs to come out firing on all cylinders. If all three phases show up we technically should win.
I can honestly see the offense beating up KC defense IF the o line does it part. We have done that to so many good teams this year that I can see that. So I do think 30+ is possible.
The defense is what scares me because if KC can run the ball then Mahommes/Reid will have a field day.
Who can run the ball better to keep the other offense on the sidelines will be key. I see no reason CMC shouldn't have 20 carries lol
Purdy is a huge x factor to me. He's started erratic the last two games, but came on in the second half. Still the tape shows he had opportunities to make the games less stressful.. lol If he's clear and cool from the start, he could make KC pay often.
