🏆 SUPER BOWL LVIII PREGAME THREAD - SF 49ERS vs KC CHIEFS 🏆

It has more to do with us not playing very well against two incredibly mediocre teams in GB and Detroit and the Chiefs surprisingly easily handling two really good teams in the Bills and the Ravens. The Chiefs slept walk through the regular season out of boredom, doing just enough to win their division, but have turned it on in the postseason.

first off, packers and lions are not mediocre imo, that's a bold take

secondly, it's the frickin SUPERBOWL, nothing that happened in the past matters, these two teams will be at their very best.

to me it's a 50/50 toss up, niners have an equal chance to win this, without no doubt

Acting like Mahomes' INTs were just a bunch of balls that bounced off a receivers hands is just silly. I counted two that were that and of course the media dramatized it…bunch of bad reads & bad throws here.

The last 2 games are lesson learned to improve. Defense will get healthy in the SB and Brock Purdy will own the moment and will be SB MVP.

That week 16 game against the Raiders was such a weird game. Mahomes was god awful at times.

I'm on NYs energy these next 9-10 days. Eff the chiefs and the horse they rode in on. Our boys got this and will bring hope the chip. It's gonna be beautiful.

Why does KC get to use the Raider training facility and the Niners have to use UNLV? The Niners have the higher seed. The Raider facility is much better.

Plus UNLV's is outdoors only and it's supposed to rain a bit through mid next week! lol

It sucks!

Might work to our advantage. If we practice in sh*t, then play in a super nice environment maybe we play faster?

I remember swimming in highschool completely waxed. My school was poor and we had a crappy pool. It was freezing and dirty. Half of the starting blocks were broken or weathered. There was a perverted pool maintainer guy that worked there for 20+ years that also wore a Speedo or jammer even tho he didn't have to. When we went to away swim meets to really nice schools, I always swam faster and typically owned the other men in my heat. I'm hoping this will be the case for the Niners

Mahomes will throw it up towards the sidelines when he is about to get sacked. Not a complete throw away, he tries to make a play of it. I have seen some of those intercepted this season.

Our team is better top to bottom. There isn't a bunch of rookies either. They've been here and won every way possible.

That's it. The Chiefs are peaking at a perfect time, whereas it seems we peaked more or less when we played the Eagles. Our team's play has been regressive since the debacle against Baltimore, and we basically edged by teams that we were at least a TD favorite in the playoffs.

Not looking good for this 12-5 Super Bowl squad
