The way things have been going lately maybe we should just spot them 14 and let them get happy and comfortable and then snatch their hearts out and stomp on it!!!!

This will never stop. Ppl always looking for excuses as to why their team lost and conspiracy theory is the laziest of them all. Ppl will always whine about league being fixed.

NFC is home team in the odd years, the AFC in the even, so we are the away team.

We wearing red or white?

Hope the Chiefs are choosing to wear their white jerseys for Super Bowl, probably with the red pants combo, (they've won 2 in a row on the road wearing these, so might be superstitious to keep donning them)—AFC as the designated "home team" has choice of what uniform to wear in even-numbered Super Bowls…
…means that the Niners would be in their home red jerseys on a grass field in Vegas.
All Niner Super Bowl wins have been:
1981: white jerseys / artificial turf
1984: red jerseys / grass
1988: red jerseys / grass
1989: white jerseys /artificial turf
1994: red jerseys / grass
The 2 losses have strayed away from the proven formula:
2012: red jerseys / turf
2019: white jerseys / grass

I keep hearing some people still bashing the absolute hell out of Chase Young after this game about his so-called poor effort or lack of a motor or whatever you wanna call it. I seem to remember he made at least two very good plays in the 1st half when the entire defense sucked ass. He absolutely efforted the hell out of a TFL on Gibbs that's a fact, and I'm pretty sure he made a couple of other well done plays. Am I taking crazy pills? There is one disease for this very high priced defense seems to have no f**king cure. 3rd and 10+ yards cannot get the f**k off the field if they're damn lives depended on it. I have no idea what the damn solution is.

Mahommes is special and is always a unique challenge, but I think our defense is a better matchup against the chiefs than baltimore/lions - both of these teams were top running teams on offense and defense (stopping the run).
we need to be able to establish the run on offense and build off of that - this isn't the type of team to open the run game up through the pass game. Chiefs corners are dangerous.
chiefs have a good pass blocking line but chiefs should be missing an all pro guard and they lead the league in offensive holding, hopefully they get called on bosa cause we know he will be held a lot.
let's finish this dream season off right!!!

Yeah Mahomes is the equalizing factor. He won't be missing wide open receivers the way Goff did.
But will his WRs have a case of the dropsies maybe / maybe not
Our DBs have a case of blown coverages and Pass interference's. It's going to be a tough game and I think KC should be favored. That Las Vegas line is bogus.
Thomas will get PId to death by Mahomes. I would wager Thomas earns at least 75yds in PIs against the Chiefs. He is a huge liability.
Reid is excellent at exploiting your weaknesses. He called the perfect game against us last time we played them too.
He'll attack our DE's with Mahomes runs like the last Superbowl (AA), go after Thomas relentlessly, drag routes laterally (speed), and try and establish a really good ground game.

Whew. Attack! Although I thought the same thing today with the Lions G's and Ragnow ailing...didn't work very well.

Not that anyone should have any confidence with this defense against KC but hearing Bosa say they felt helpless out there on D for most of the game is really discouraging.
DET has some good O players,
we won the game, we basically pitched a 2nd half shutout

Mahomes trumps all of them combined. Kelce is TE 1A or 1B in the NFL and Pacheco is very good. This offense will be a lot tougher than Detroit or Green Bay simply due to Mahomes.
Goff with an absolute array of weapons is more of a threat than god himself with an old tight end, a promising rookie and a solid yet small running back.
This is way less of a challenge for our defense, period.

OK I just looked up the aiyuk catch. There was a flag thrown, then after the refs discussed it the announcement was, "There is no foul on the play. The catch was made and the receiver was downed by contact on the 3.5 yard line". Why did they pick up the flag?? I know it doesn't matter in the end, but it is curious.
