I would be fine without media day if they could have had a better field to practice.

KC vs zone runs: 31st in yds/carry allowed 😬
Talked about a few of the ways in which SF matches up well with the Chiefs on the ground. pic.twitter.com/2do2yb74wJ
So expect Kyle to have Purdy throw it 49 times this game
How does one sell out to stop the zone run?
Figure out how KC could do that, and have a counter against that to destroy them.
5 man front. But gotta have the personnel to pull it off. The Chiefs really don't, which is why they've struggled against it so much. If Kyle is willing to give 4-6 carries each to Mitchell and Mason and keep McCaffrey fresh for 3rd downs, Niners can really control the clock. Since Purdy has been the QB though, he just hasn't been willing to grind out a game like that.

what is even happening here?
pretty sure the 49ers asked for the UNLV turf to be covered with real grass
Where did you hear that?
why else would they lay grass over the artificial turf?

Bear fronts, where the C and both Gs have a DLman over them - that helps to keep the LBs clean to clog up zone runs. The counter to Bear fronts is to attack the edges with speed since there are three DLmen plugging up the middle.

Wow, so biased, the Cheifs get an Olympic Opening Ceremony-style walk-in, and the 49ers only get a share the stage with the Chief's intro
