I kind of thought the same thing. I'm surprised nothing has come through on that. Maybe it's being blown out of proportion
Wait are people upset because the coach had a beer in LV? I'd say they earned that right….bunch of wieners complaining about this stuff.

Lmao @ "a beer"…..Dude was slurring his words on live TV in front of the entire country. Hardly the look you want when entering the biggest game of the year, especially when you have the history of choking away Super Bowls.

Save that for when you've actually won the game, there will be plenty of time for saucing it up after.

How many times you see any other great coach slurring his words on live TV?

Act like you've been there, that's what pros do.

Maybe? It obviously is. Niners probably said it could be better and then the media ran with it.

If he wins no one will give a s**t. If he loses he'll be ripped whether he was sober or not. It's a non issue.

Even if he loses, there's people that won't care about that. I have no issue with him unwinding and enjoying the moment, he's earned that, but it's not a good look as the head coach and leader of the team.

Well he has been there, twice. And maybe he recognized it's best to enjoy the moment for a night. A night that is still 6 days before the actual game.

I swear there are people already drafting up their rants about this in case we lose.

so crazy, he's slurring his words

Foreal!!!

I don't know how I feel about it right now. If we come out and whoop KC I'll be fine, but it feels like they are prepping harder than us.

Hope that isn't the case.

I'd rather our 49ers go in there relaxed, prepared, and loose. Bad things happen when you tense up in competition.

Yeah that's kinda why I'm on the fence. All that media stuff is stressful as Ward mentioned.

I trust Kyle as a game planner. We don't know what kind of prep work the team has done or will be doing the rest of the week.

Will say this though, Shanahan will go down as an even bigger legend if we win now after this lol.

Just when everyone thought the only drunken subject was going to be Patrick's dad lol
People saying the Chiefs had a rainy practice in pads yesterday, I've got two questions:

1. Where are you seeing that?

2. Why would the Chiefs practice in the rain for a game that has 0% chance of being rainy? Especially when they can easily practice indoors in their apparent palace of a practice field that they have?

This fanbase makes no sense and is just looking for everything to panic about. First it was the field, then when Kyle comes right out and says it's a nothingburger, we've moved on to "omg he's DRUNK we're definitely gonna lose now!!!"

lol he's actually been there before. Bunch of wieners complaining about something that doesn't affect you at all…if you don't think he's gonna be prepared for the game. Well that's your problem.

Bunch of wieners man. Just enjoy the moment instead of finding things to b***h about.

Rob "stats" said he was right next to Kyle all night and he didn't even think he was drunk and if he was feeling good. Who cares. Game is 6 days away. They spent all last week game planning as well
